Abstract: A multilayer flexible tube includes an inner layer including a melt processable fluoropolymer, wherein the fluoropolymer includes a copolymer of a poly vinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and a hexafluoropropylene (HFP); and an outer layer including a melt processable polymer having a shore hardness less than a shore hardness of the inner layer. Further included is a method of forming a radiation curable article includes providing an ultraviolet curable silicone composition in a first portion of a container, wherein the ultraviolet curable silicone composition includes an unsaturated, carbon functional group-containing siloxane component, a hydride-containing siloxane component, and a photoactive catalyst; providing a cure inhibitor in a second portion of the container; and irradiating the silicone composition with a radiation source to form the radiation curable article.

Abstract: The invention describes a flexible tubular article for transport of volatile hydrocarbons comprising: (a) an inner layer of a polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) polymer or a polyvinylidene difluoride copolymer; (b) an intermediate thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) layer extruded in tubular form over the inner PVDF layer, and (c) a polyvinyl chloride polymer extruded in tubular form over the outside surface of the intermediate layer and being coextensive therewith. The tubular articles of the invention have a maximum permeation rating of 15 g/m2/day under SAE J1737 test conditions.

Abstract: A composite fabric laminate can include an open mesh fabric, a first continuous film comprising a fluoropolymer, and a second continuous film comprising a fluoropolymer. The fluoropolymer of the first continuous film and the fluoropolymer of the second continuous films can be in direct contact with one another. A method of forming a composite fabric laminate that includes disposing an open mesh fabric between a first continuous film and a second continuous film, each comprising an at least partially unsintered fluoropolymer film, to form a composite; laminating the composite at a pressure of at least 100 psig and a temperature of no greater than 350° C.; and sintering the laminated composite to form the composite fabric laminate.
