摘要: A system and method for coupling a thermal dissipation device to a substrate to be cooled and to an underlying support. The system includes a frame having an aperture, an upper surface abutting at least part of the bottom periphery of the thermal dissipation device, and a lower surface abutting the underlying support. A biasing element is positioned within the aperture of the frame and fastened to the thermal dissipation device. The biasing element urges the substrate into contact with the thermal dissipation device by applying a biasing force thereto, and decouples this biasing force from the force securing the heat sink to the underlying support.

摘要: A radioactive catheter system, including a plurality of medical catheter assemblies, to irradiate patient's bodies having a variety of treatment requirements, configured to eliminate the need to maintain a selection of radiation source wires. The catheter assemblies each include a catheter that defines a lumen configured to receive a radiation source wire from an afterloader. Each catheter assembly includes at least one radiation shield configured and located to form a treatment region, so as to shield a portion of the radiation source from irradiating a patient's body. The radiation shield surrounds the lumen circumferentially over a first and second longitudinal portion of the catheter, forming a treatment window configured to only allow portions of the positioned radiation source longitudinally within the treatment window to primarily irradiate portions of the body. The radiation shield may comprise coils of radiation shielding material, or adjacent rings of radiation shielding material. The catheter assembly may include radial centering devices adjacent the radiation shield. The plurality of catheter assemblies include a plurality of different treatment regions to accommodate a variety of treatment requirements.

摘要: A global information network forms completion data processing system uses data stored in a database to automatically fill out data fields of the various and multiple forms displayed on the WEB browsers of users who are engaged in commerce, dealing with governmental agencies, or otherwise attempting to complete transactions over the global information network. The data processing system retrieves tagged information previously entered and stored in a database, and automatically inserts the data in similarly tagged uncompleted fields of any number and variety of forms. The fully completed forms are then transmitted to the parties requesting the information and are stored for later retrieval, updating and printing by the user.

摘要: The system (200) provides a photonic waveguide (210) formed on a substrate (220) and a plurality of steering mirrors (230) within the photonic waveguide. The steering mirrors can be configured to direct a light beam (240) between two or more computing components (260). A plurality of steering mirror supports (250) are located within the waveguide having preset locations. The steering mirror supports are configured to enable the steering mirrors to be selectively repositioned at the preset steering mirror supports within the photonic waveguide to create varying configurations. The steering mirrors in the varying configurations direct one or more optical beams to form multiple connectivity channels between computing components within the photonic waveguide.

摘要: A blade clamp for a helicopter blade having a width and leading and trailing edges includes a first clamping part, a first flexible liner attachable to the first clamping part, a second clamping part, a second flexible liner attachable to the second clamping part, a hinge mechanism to pivot the first clamping part and the first flexible liner with respect to the second clamping part and the second flexible liner and a connector provided opposite to the hinge mechanism. The flexible liners evenly distribute clamping force upon the blade clamp to prevent damage to the blade. The hinge mechanism allows the first and second clamping parts to open wide enough to safely and easily accommodate a helicopter blade during removal and installation of the blade.
