摘要: A wavelength monitor includes the following elements. An optical divider divides a beam of measured light into first and second divided beams of meal light. An interfering element converts the first and second divided beams of measured light into first and second parallel beams of measured light to cause interference between the first and second parallel beams of measured light with each other thereby generating an interfered beam of measured light. A light receiving element way including a plurality of light receiving elements receives the interfered beam of measured light. An interference signal converting unit receives output signals from the light receiving element array to generate interference signals different in phase by 90 degrees from each other. A signal processing unit receives the interference signals from the interference signal converting unit to obtain a wavelength of the measured light from the interference signals.

摘要: In a jitter generator (phase modulator), worsening of phase noise is restrained and phase modulation accuracy is improved, and the phase modulation accuracy is improved by preventing a change in the detection sensitivity of the phase detector, if any, from affecting a change in the phase modulation index. Also, phase modulation is made possible without lowering the phase modulation accuracy even when an input phase signal increases. In a jitter generator using a PLL circuit, a quadrature modulator to which a modulation signal from a phase signal generator is provided is inserted to an input stage of a phase detector that constitutes the PLL circuit. In addition to this, an overflow detector that detects an overflow on an upper limit side or lower limit side of an analog/digital converter, a control unit that outputs a value for an effective region of the analog/digital converter on the basis of an output of the overflow detector, a digital/analog converter that coverts an output of the control unit to an analog signal, and an adder that adds an output of the digital/analog converter to the modulation signal, are provided.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a linear actuator in which reliability is improved, and performance is also easily improved. The present invention provides a linear actuator including a stator, a movable element having an iron member, and being reciprocatable with respect to the stator, a permanent magnet fixed to the stator so as to be opposed to the iron member, and a coil fixed to the stator. Because both the coil and the permanent magnet are fixed to the stator, electrical current does not have to be supplied to the movable element, and the feeder lines connected to the coil will not be broken due to the movement of the movable element. In addition, the weight of the movable element will not be increased even when the weigh of the permanent magnet is increased in order to obtain high magnetic flux density for improvement in performance. Moreover, because the movable element does not include a magnet, a magnetizing operation does not have to be applied to the movable element. The permanent magnets may be a pair in which the directions the magnetic poles thereof differ from each other, and two pairs of permanent magnets may be provided. The number of magnetic fluxes that run through the magnetic pole elements and the iron member can be increased by providing a magnetic reluctance section around the permanent magnets.

摘要: An accessory utilizing a light emitter that is capable of detachably attaching a transparent body such as a gem is provided. Because the transparent body is detachable and re-attachable, it is easily possible to use a plurality of transparent bodies on one accessory. Also, it is possible to use the accessory in a wide variety of situations according to time, place and occasion. Further, providing a family crest, engraved mark, trade mark, illustration and/or the like on the accessory not only embellishes the effect of the accessory, but also makes the accessory more distinctive.
