摘要: An aspect of the present invention is a resin composition containing a polybutadiene compound having an epoxy group in a molecule, a polyphenylene ether compound having at least one of a group represented by the following Formula (1) and a group represented by the following Formula (2) in a molecule, a styrene-based block copolymer, and a curing agent.
In Formula (1), p represents 0 to 10, Z represents an arylene group, and R1 to R3 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group.
In Formula (2), R4 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group.-

摘要: Components for articles of footwear and athletic equipment are provided including a foam. A variety of foams and foam components and compositions for forming the foams are provided. In some aspects, the foams and components including the foams can have exceptionally high energy return while also having improved durability and softness. In particular, midsoles including the foams are provided for use in an article of footwear. Methods of making the compositions and foams are provided, as well as methods of making an article of footwear including one of the foam components. In some aspects, the foams and foam components can be made by injection molding or injection molding followed by compression molding.

摘要: An article comprising a polymeric foam, wherein the polymeric foam contains a continuous polymer matrix defining cells therein, the polymer matrix containing: (a) from 25 to 65 weight percent of one or more olefin block copolymer having a melt index of two grams per ten minutes or more, (b) from 65 to 25 weight percent of one or more chlorinated olefin polymer having a Mooney viscosity less than 60 (ML 1+4, 125° C.), and (c) from 5 to 30 weight parts of antimony trioxide relative to 100 weight parts of polymers in the polymeric foam, with weight percent values relative to total polymer weight in the polymeric foam; a process for preparing the article.

摘要: Embodiments relate to a high melt flow thermoplastic polyolefin composition and of a method of preparing a high melt flow thermoplastic polyolefin composition, in which the composition includes from 5 wt % to 45 wt % of a modifier including a blend of from 5 wt % to 40 wt % of a block composite and from 60 wt % to 95 wt % of a polyolefin copolymer, based on a total weight of the modifier, and from 30 wt % to 95 wt % of a polypropylene polymer base that has a melt flow rate of at least 40 g/10 min. The high melt flow thermoplastic polyolefin composition has a blended melt flow rate of at least 25 g/10 min and an MFR ratio is less than 2.0, the MFR ratio being a ratio of the melt flow rate of the polypropylene polymer base to the blended melt flow rate of the high melt flow thermoplastic polyolefin composition.

摘要: Compositions are provided herein comprising a base polymer having engrafted with a secondary polymeric matrix having hydrophilic and lubricious copolymer brushes. Each copolymer brush further comprises functional groups immobilized along the surface of the brush in a plurality of layers, the functional groups conferring hydrophilic and lubricious properties to the base polymer. These polymer compositions are useful for e.g., fabricating devices for delivery of intraocular lenses (IOLs) as well as improving the hydrophilic properties of contact lenses.

摘要: Aliphatic bromine-containing polymers are stabilized using a mixture of an alkyl phosphite and an epoxy compound. This stabilizer package is very effective at preventing cross-linking reactions from occurring when the aliphatic bromine-containing polymer is subjected to high temperatures as are seen in melt processing operations. The stabilized aliphatic bromine-containing polymer is useful as a flame retardant for other polymers, notably polystyrene foam.
