Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide a linear actuator in which reliability is improved, and performance is also easily improved. The present invention provides a linear actuator including a stator, a movable element having an iron member, and being reciprocatable with respect to the stator, a permanent magnet fixed to the stator so as to be opposed to the iron member, and a coil fixed to the stator. Because both the coil and the permanent magnet are fixed to the stator, electrical current does not have to be supplied to the movable element, and the feeder lines connected to the coil will not be broken due to the movement of the movable element. In addition, the weight of the movable element will not be increased even when the weigh of the permanent magnet is increased in order to obtain high magnetic flux density for improvement in performance. Moreover, because the movable element does not include a magnet, a magnetizing operation does not have to be applied to the movable element. The permanent magnets may be a pair in which the directions the magnetic poles thereof differ from each other, and two pairs of permanent magnets may be provided. The number of magnetic fluxes that run through the magnetic pole elements and the iron member can be increased by providing a magnetic reluctance section around the permanent magnets.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to address-information changing and allows for changing automatically address information registered with a communication destination. Upon receiving a change notification transmitted from a communication terminal device including a mobile phone or the like with changed profile information, address information relating to a source-communication terminal device is changed in a destination-communication terminal device including another mobile phone or the like and a response notification indicating a result of the change is transmitted. Subsequently, the communication terminal device with the changed profile information can change the address information of the communication destination and confirm the changing of the address information. Further, the address information can be changed automatically and the changing can be confirmed automatically.
Abstract:
A seat having a seating face made of sheet resilient material is assembled from a seat frame comprising a substantially quadrilateral frame body, the sheet resilient material forming the seating face, a pad member forming a largely rising bank, and a skin material enclosing the pad member, wherein the sheet resilient material is stretched within a frame body of the seat frame, one end of the skin material is abutted against and fixed on the frame body of the seat frame, the pad member is assembled outside the seat frame, the skin material covers outside of the pad member from the one end which is abutted against and fixed on the frame body of the seat frame, and the other end is wound and stopped around a back of the seat frame, a bank which rises larger than the surface position of the seating face made of the sheet resilient material which is stretched within the frame of the seat frame is formed, and the bank is assembled as a strong bank with a simple structure, and the pad member prevents the seat frame from touching a sitting passenger so that the sitting passenger should not feel a sense of incongruity.

The hydrogenated diene copolymer (A) can be used in combination with (B) a polyphenylene ether resin and (C) at least one member selected from the group consisting of a polyamide and a thermoplastic polyester in such a proportion that the amount of (A) is 1-50 parts by weight, the amount of (B) is 10-89 parts by weight and the amount of (C) is 10-89 parts by weight. The above composition has improved impact resistance and improved gloss and appearance of molded article.

Abstract:
An oxidation-resistant silicon nitride material possessing a surface layer of a phase of closely packed crystals is produced by a procedure which comprises covering the surface of a silicon nitride substrate with a layer of an alkali metal compound, firing the coated substrate at a temperature of between 800.degree. C. and 1,300.degree. C., thereby forming an alkali metal-containing vitreous coating layer on the surface of the silicon nitride substrate, and thereafter removing the coating layer.
Abstract:
An optical fiber measuring apparatus comprises a first laser diode and a second laser diode for producing light outputs of different wavelengths, respectively, a polarized beam splitter to which the light output of the first or second diodes is inputted, an A/O modulator through which the light output having passed through the polarized beam splitter is supplied to an optical fiber, and a first change-over switch for changing over power supplies for the first and second laser diodes, and first and second driving sources for driving the A/O modulator. The outputs of the drive sources are selectively changed over by a second change-over switch. The first and second change-over switches are interlocked in such a manner in which the output of the first driving source is selected when said first power supply is turned on while the output of the second driving source is selected when the output of the second power supply is turned on. The output frequencies of the first and second driving sources are so selected that the light output from the A/O modulator exhibits same first order diffraction angle for the output wavelengths of the first and second laser diodes.
