    摘要: An error correcting system uses an error location polynomial which is defined by double correction BCH codes each consisting of the elements of a Galois field GF(2.sup.m), and thereby generates error locations .sigma..sub.1 and .alpha..sup.2 and error patterns e.sub.1 and 2.sub.2. The system has a first data processing system for performing only addition and multiplication to generate the error locations .sigma..sub.1 and .alpha..sup.2, and a second data processing system for performing only addition and multiplication to generate the error patterns e.sub.1 and 2.sub.2. The first data processing system comprises a syndrome generator, a memory, an arithmetic logic unit, registers, latch circuits, registers, adder circuits and a zero detector. The second data processing system comprises a gate circuit, latch circuits, an arithmetic logic unit, and the registers of a memory.

    摘要: A flame detecting thermocouple for use with a gas valve to insure that the pilot flame exists before the gas valve can turn on the main burner. The thermocouple has a first rod shaped element which is composed of a high potential side thermoelectric material such as Chromel, Inconel, iron-chromium alloy and a second rod shaped element composed of a low potential side thermoelectric material formed of a 0.7 to 2% yttrium, 45-70% copper and the remainder of the alloy is nickel, and the elements are welded together at their ends to provide a junction which can be heated by a flame to produce a thermoelectric output at the other ends of the element.

    摘要: Provided are: a polarizer protective film, which is allowed to express excellent UV-absorbing ability by using a UV-absorbing monomer as a raw material, has excellent heat resistance and excellent optical transparency, and has much less coloring and foaming; a polarizing plate with less defects in an outer appearance, using the polarizer protective film; and an image display apparatus of high quality, using the polarizing plate. The polarizer protective film of the present invention has a light transmittance at 380 nm in a thickness of 80 μm of 30% or less, and is obtained by molding a forming material that contains a resin component containing as a main component a (meth)acrylic resin obtained by polymerizing a monomer composition containing a UV-absorbing monomer and a (meth)acrylic monomer by extrusion molding.
