摘要: When a margin paper constituting a margin between pictured formed sheets, on which pictures have been formed, is cut by a cutter, it is received in a casing. The number of times, in which cutting means cuts a number of sheets to avoid overflowing of the margin paper received in the casing, is beforehand set as a set value, and the number of times, in which the cutter cuts a roll paper, is counted. When a count value reaches the set value, a control unit turns the casing so that an upper opening of the casing is directed downward, and causes the margin paper in the casing to be ejected. When a predetermined period of time has elapsed, the casing is again turned to be returned to an original state. The number of times as counted is reset and counting is again performed.

摘要: The present invention provides a system for recognizing gestures made by a moving subject. The system comprises a sound detector for detecting sound, one or more image sensors for capturing an image of the moving subject, a human recognizer for recognizing a human being from the image captured by said one or more image sensors, and a gesture recognizer, activated when human voice is identified by said sound detector, for recognizing a gesture of the human being. In a preferred embodiment, the system includes a hand recognizer for recognizing a hand of the human being. The gesture recognizer recognizes a gesture of the human being based on movement of the hand identified by the hand recognizer. The system may further include a voice recognizer that recognizes human voice and determines words from human voice input to the sound detector. The gesture recognizer is activated when the voice recognizer recognizes one of a plurality of predetermined keywords such as “hello!”, “bye”, and “move”.

摘要: The invention provides a rust inhibiting technology for zinc-coated and uncoated steel which insures at least the equivalent of results obtainable by the technology using a Cr-containing coating composition. This method comprises coating a zinc-coated or uncoated steel substrate with a water-based resin composition comprising a carboxylated polyolefin resin and 70-0 part by weight of solid matter of at least one member selected from the group consisting of polyurethane resin, polyester resin, acrylic resin, epoxy resin, and alkyd resin as supplemented with 0.01-0.5 part by weight of phosphate ion based on 100 parts by weight of total solid matter of said water-based resin composition and adjusted to a pH value of not less than 7, either followed by heating the coated substrate at 50.degree.-250.degree. C. to dry the coat or preceded by heating said steel substrate at 50.degree.-250.degree. C. to let the then-applied coat dry spontaneously.

The saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer is one having an ethylene content of 20 to 60 mole %, a vinyl acetate saponification degree of not less than 90 mole %, a melt flow index of 1 to 100 g/10 min as measured under a load of 2160 g at 210.degree. C., and a melt viscosity ratio .eta..sub.60 /.eta..sub.5 of 0.5 to 4 where .eta..sub.60 means the melt viscosity after 60 minutes of standing at 250.degree. C. and the .eta..sub.5 means the melt viscosity after 5 minutes of standing at 250.degree. C. and a starch-based macromolecular substance. A layer of the above composition can be used to fabricate a laminate with a substrate material of a different kind, such as a photodegradable polymer.

摘要: The present invention relates to a phosphating method and solution for forming on a metal surface a phosphate film, which are used for elevating coating finish and rust-preventive property when a product consisting essentially of steel and/or zinc-plated steel combined with an aluminum alloy is coated with cationic electrocoating. The method and solution comprise that said metal surface is brought, to form a coating film, in contact with an aqueous phosphate solution which satisfies the following conditions with respect to the six kinds of ions contained. A total concentration of a sodium ion and a potassium ion is in a range of 2.0 to 15.0 (g/l). A total concentration of a manganese ion and a nickel ion is in a range of 1.0 to 5.0 (g/l). Concentration of a zinc ion is in a range of (1.6-0.02 T) to (2.5-0.02 T) (g/l). Concentration of a free F.sup.- ion is in a range of 8.0 T.sup.-1 to 20.0 T.sup.-1 (g/l), (here, T is temperature (.degree.C.) of a phosphating solution and in a range of 20 to 60).Contact of the metal surface with the phosphate solution is carried out with a combined process of dipping treatment subsequently followed by spraying treatment.
