摘要: A method of implanting an aortic stent comprising steps of: putting a main tube on a metal guide wire; moving the main tube along the metal guide wire to the descending aorta, the main tube is constrained by a first cover, and first and second tube bifurcations are branched from the main section; removing the first cover; inserting a second and third metal guide wire through the first tube bifurcation into the ascending aorta and branchiocephalic artery respectively; a first and a second tube branch moving into the ascending aorta and the branchiocephalic artery respectively; inserting a fourth and fifth metal guide wire through the first tube bifurcation into the ascending aorta and branchiocephalic artery respectively; a third and a fourth tube branch moving into left common carotid artery and the left subclavian artery respectively; removing a second cover constraining said tube branches.

摘要: A combination double-barreled and debranching stent graft and methods for its use, where the stent graft comprises, a main body stent graft defining a single lumen with distal and proximal ends, a first bifurcation in the main body defining first and second lumens, the main body stent graft defines a tubular wall that is contiguous with the first and second lumens such that any fluid entering the main body stent graft must exit by entering one of the first or second lumens, (c) a second bifurcation within the first lumen defining a first leg and a second leg, (d) a third bifurcation within the first leg defining a third leg and a fourth leg, and (e) a fourth bifurcation within the second leg between about 10 mm and about 20 mm distal from the second bifurcation defining a fifth leg and a sixth leg.

摘要: Systems, methods and kits relating to in-situ forming polymer foams for the treatment of aneurysms or fluid filled spaces are disclosed. The systems include an insertable medical device and an in-situ forming foam of lava like materials with a fast forming outer skin and a slower hardening interior that is formed from a one-, two- or multi-part formulation. When used to treat an aneurysm, the foam is placed into contact with at least a portion of an exterior surface of the medical device and/or the tissue surface of the aneurysm.

摘要: A tubular side arm assembly configured for mounting onto a stent graft to provide an accessible side arm. The side arm includes a lightweight space frame comprising a resilient wire, and the space frame comprises a cylindrical portion and a funnel portion. The cylindrical portion includes first and second circular planar ring portions that are parallel to each other and spaced apart axially, and at least two longitudinal struts extending between the first and second circular ring portions. The frame also includes a funnel portion including a substantially circular ring portion to define a larger end of the funnel portion and a pair of spaced apart antis extending from the substantially circular ring portion towards the cylindrical portion. The lightweight space frame is configured to support a biocompatible graft material.

摘要: A self expanding flexible or balloon expandable flexible device includes a helical strut member helically wound about an axis of the stent. The helical strut member comprises a plurality of helical strut elements. A plurality of individual helical elements are helically wound about the axis of the device in the same direction of the helical strut member with the helical elements extending between and interconnecting points on subsequent windings of the helical strut member. The device can be a flow diverter, anchor, revascularization device or filter. A self expanding flexible bifurcation device can include at least one leg. The at least one leg comprising the helical strut member and the plurality of individual helical elements helically wound about the axis of the device in the same direction of the helical strut member with the helical elements extending between and interconnecting points on subsequent windings of the helical strut member.

摘要: Methods and devices are disclosed for manipulating the airway, such as to treat obstructive sleep apnea. An implant is positioned within the body with respect to the airway. The spatial orientation of the airway is manipulated, directly or indirectly, to affect the configuration of the airway. In general, the implant is manipulated to displace the trachea in an inferior direction, resist superior displacement of the trachea and/or to alter the tracheal wall tension. The implant restrains the trachea in the manipulated configuration.

摘要: An aortic stent-graft capable of avoiding migration of location, which includes a covered stent body and a bare stent connected to a proximal end of the covered stent body, with barbs for looseness-proof fixation which are provided at each wave crest and each wave trough of the bare stent and extend towards a distal end of the covered stent body. After the aortic stent-graft is fastened by the looseness-proof fixation structures, because the barbs arranged at each wave crest of the bare stent are not on the same plane with the barbs arranged at each wave trough of the bare stent, simultaneous relative motions of the two sets of barbs which may lead to detachment or loosening of the looseness-proof fixation structures will not happen, so that the aortic stent-graft is able to be fastened onto a blood vessel wall more firmly.

摘要: A stent graft for placement in a lumen of a patient is disclosed. The stent graft comprises a main body comprising a main lumen and having a distal end terminating in a bifurcation. It also comprises first and second legs extending from the bifurcation, the first and second legs having respective first and second leg lumens and the first and second leg lumens being in fluid communication with the main lumen; and a side arm extending from the first leg, the side arm having a side arm lumen. The side arm lumen is in fluid communication with the first leg lumen at a position adjacent to the bifurcation. A combined lumen is formed. The combined lumen is between the main lumen and a distal portion of the first leg lumen and is bounded laterally by a portion of the side arm located adjacent to the bifurcation.

摘要: An endoprosthesis delivery system includes a wire holder on a distal section of an elongated shaft with a plurality of wires extending distally from the wire holder and, in a secured position, terminating in a distal receiver attached to the elongated shaft distal to the wire holder. A single wire attached to the wire holder and extending proximally along the delivery system to a point easily accessible by the operator may be pulled proximally to move the wires out of the distal receiver and release the endoprosthesis.
