摘要: Disclosed are binders and methods for making such binders with crude sterols. The crude sterols improve various rheological properties of the binders. The disclosure provides a method for slowing the aging rate of aged asphalt binder comprising adding a crude sterol to an asphalt binder, wherein the asphalt binder comprises both virgin asphalt binder, and reclaimed asphalt binder material comprising asphalt pavement (RAP), asphalt shingles (RAS) or combinations of RAP and RAS.

摘要: An ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) with waste brick powder and preparation method and application thereof are provided, which relates to the technical field of concrete. The preparation method includes the following steps: stimulating activity of a brick powder by a method of mechanically stimulating activity to obtain waste brick powder; and preparing UHPC according to a mass ratio of cement to waste brick powder of 5:5-7:3 to obtain the UHPC with waste brick powder. The UHPC is prepared by treating waste bricks from construction waste (mechanically stimulating activity) to make waste brick powder with activity, therefore partially replacing cement. The UHPC is applied in a construction field.

摘要: The embodiments herein are directed to dry wall waste mixtures, formed under pressure into example embodiments referred to herein as dry wall waste blocks (DWBs) and/or gypsum wallboard waste blocks (GWWBs) and tile structures. DWBs/GWWBs mixtures in particular, often incorporate a higher percentage in the composite mixtures from about 60% up to 85% of dry wall waste than other mixtures and beneficially often incorporates substantially all of the wallboard facing paper as part of the composite mixture. That is, waste processing is simplified by comingling core and paper layers in the final product. DWBs/GWWBs mixtures utilize demolition and construction waste, replacing a high percentage of Portland cement with waste-derived binder.

摘要: The present invention relates to methods for the production of fresh cured fiber cement products. More particularly, the present invention provides methods for the production of fresh fiber cement products comprising cured fiber cement waste material, at least comprising the steps of: (a) Providing a cured fiber cement waste powder by comminuting cured fiber cement waste material; (b) Providing an aqueous fiber cement slurry comprising water, cementitious binder, natural or synthetic fibers and said cured fiber cement waste powder; (c) Forming a green fiber cement sheet from said aqueous fiber cement slurry; and (d) Autoclave-curing said green fiber cement sheet thereby providing a fresh fiber cement product.

摘要: A seismic steel tubular column with internal local restraint and filled with high strengthen compound concrete containing normal-strength demolished concrete lumps, and a construction process. The seismic column includes a steel tube (1), high-strength fresh concrete (2), normal-strength demolished concrete lumps (3), horizontal stirrups (4), and longitudinal erection bars (5). The horizontal stirrups (4) are arranged at upper and lower ends inside the steel tube (1). The high-strength fresh concrete (2) is poured and the normal-strength demolished concrete lumps (3) are put alternately inside the steel tube (1). A compressive strength of the high-strength fresh concrete (2) is 30˜90 MPa greater than that of the normal-strength demolished concrete lumps (3).

摘要: Methods and an associated system for processing unhardened concrete are disclosed. With these methods, the porosity of the unhardened concrete is significantly increased to decrease the strength so much that it can be easily broken up for sale or reuse. In at least one embodiment, the method includes adding a large volume of foam to the returned unhardened concrete and then mixing the foam with the returned concrete in the ready-mix concrete truck or other concrete mixing devices at any location including the jobsite, enroute to the concrete plant, or at the concrete plant. Through the mixing of foam with the returned concrete, the hydrated cement and aggregate particles are separated by large volumes of air voids, which significantly increase the porosity and dramatically reduce the strength of the returned concrete. The treated concrete is discharged and allowed to solidify in this weakened state, after which it is easily broken into loose particulate material that can be sold or reused.

摘要: Packaged, rubber-modified, hot-mix asphalt pre-mix is prepared without first forming pellets of an asphalt binder and then coating the pellets with lime. In one embodiment the invention is a process of preparing a packaged, rubber-modified, hot-mix asphalt pre-mix in which a hot, rubber-modified asphalt binder is added directly to aggregate which is (1) of a temperature lower than that of the hot binder, and (2) held within a polyolefin package, e.g., a polyethylene bag.

摘要: A method for making a low-alkali fly ash cement includes forming a mixture of class C fly ash and an aqueous solution and forming low-alkali fly ash cement from the mixture. The aqueous solution has an alkali at a molar concentration between about 0.002 M and about 2 M. A low-alkali fly ash cement includes class C fly ash and an alkali activating agent. The low-alkali fly ash cement contains between about 3×10−4 wt % alkali activating agent and about 2 wt % alkali activating agent. A method for making fly ash cement includes forming a mixture of class C fly ash and water, wet pressing the mixture and forming fly ash cement from the mixture by curing the mixture at a temperature between about 60° C. and about 90° C.
