Abstract:
The slide door assembly includes a lower rail provided on a chassis; a lower roller bracket mounted on a slide door and slidably engaged with the lower rail, the lower roller bracket having a roller; an interlock stopper mounted on one side of the lower roller bracket and pivoting to protrude toward the lower rail when a window pane is opened; a locking device mounted on the other side of the lower roller bracket; and a safety device for holding the slide door in an open state, the safety device being locked to the locking device by the interlock stopper when the slide door with the opened window pane is opened. In the case where the slide door is opened, with the window pane being opened to a certain height, the slide door is locked substantially at a three-quarter point by the safety device.
Abstract:
A spindle drive for a movable component includes a threaded spindle which is rotatable about a spindle axis; a spindle nut which engages the threaded spindle; and a transmission element which can be connected to the movable component, the transmission element being fixed against rotation about the spindle axis and being axially drivable by rotation of the spindle nut. An intermediate element, which is fixed against rotation relative to the spindle nut, extends axially with respect to the threaded spindle and is rotatable relative to the threaded spindle. A drive is connected to rotate one of the intermediate element and the threaded spindle; and the other of the intermediate element and the threaded spindle can be fixed against rotation.
Abstract:
An operator for use in connection with a door system including an axle having an operator framework supporting an operator motor, the operator framework defining a clearance adapted to insertably receive the axle therein, a gear assembly defining a bore in which the axle is received and including a removable gear segment adapted to selectively medially open the bore to receive the axle, wherein the motor is interconnected with the gear assembly to cause rotation thereof.
Abstract:
Disclosed are door assemblies particularly well suited for opening and closing wide entries such as emergency room entries. The assemblies have multiple doors that can be overlapped at a side of the entry. If further access room is needed the doors can then be pivoted so that essentially the entire entry is open. There is an automatic latching system that activates as the doors are being pivoted to prevent some sliding motion during the pivoting.
Abstract:
An automatic closing device for returning a sliding section of a sliding door assembly to a closed position without application of an external force. The automatic closing device has a controlled return mechanism that has an adjustable mass assembly and a spring. The controlled return mechanism generates a force that returns the sliding section to its closed position after the sliding section is opened. The controlled return mechanism has a connector having a first end and a second end. The first end of the connector is attached to a fixed position on the sliding door assembly and the second end of the connector is attached to a top end of the controlled return mechanism. The controlled return mechanism has a pulley assembly having a plurality of pulleys that guides the connector from the top end of the controlled return mechanism to the fixed position on the sliding door assembly.
Abstract:
A removable device can be placed into the groove of window frame of a sliding window and which prevents the window from pivoting inward during a storm. The device is a block having a top surface, a bottom surface a front face, a rear face, a leading end and a trailing end. The bottom surface of the block is configured to fit slidably within a window frame adjacent a sash within the window frame. The leading end of the block has a leg extending outward from the block so that when the block is positioned in the window frame so that the leading end abuts the window frame, the leg extends along a peripheral edge of the sash and prevents the sash from pivoting out of the window frame.
Abstract:
Provided is a heating cooker which allows a door on a cooking chamber to be opened without direct handling of the door by a user. The heating cooker includes a body having a cooking chamber defined therein, a door hingably mounted to the body to open and close the cooking chamber, a door holder positioned in the body to hold the door and keep the cooking chamber closed by the door, and a hinge part connected between the door and the body to guide rotation of the door such that when the door is released from the door holder, the door is automatically opened.
Abstract:
This invention relates to joinery and particularly to closures for openings. A bi-fold joinery configuration, which facilitates the convenient orientation of joinery panels toward alignment with adjacent portions of a wall aligned with the plane of the opening, is provided.
Abstract:
A system for moving a barrier between limit positions, includes an operator motor assembly mounted proximate to the barrier, wherein at least a portion of the motor assembly is movable between an operating position and a locking position with the motor assembly blocking movement of the barrier. A bias assembly biases the motor assembly in the operating position and allows the motor assembly to move toward the locking position when either a predetermined force overcomes a biasing force or when the barrier is moved to a closed limit position or when forced entry is imposed on the barrier. The biasing force may be adjusted by moving posts on the motor assembly that are engaged by the bias assembly. A disengagement feature may also be provided that allows pivotable movement of the motor assembly even when in a locking position. And the pivoting motor assembly may be used as a secondary entrapment input to an operator controller.
Abstract:
An electrical motor includes a sleeve, a rotational assembly located in the sleeve, and a shaft rotatably mounted about an axis extending longitudinally through the sleeve. The motor also includes an endcap, and a brake mechanism located about the axis of the shaft, the brake mechanism including a spring and a first bushing, wherein the spring forces the first bushing against the endcap to create a static frictional torque between the first bushing and the endcap when the motor is in an off state.
