Abstract: RFID-tagged items can be filtered based on relevance estimation or user input. A device reads digital identifiers for multiple RFID-tagged items. The device estimates and selects an item that an individual desires based on one or more metrics, then presents data about the selected item to the individual. If the device receives feedback that the selected item is not the desired item, then the device may estimate and select another item and/or present information about multiple items to allow the individual to select the desired item. When the desired item is selected, the device may perform some associated action.

Abstract: System and method for promoting mobility and logistics of goods services based on advertisements. The system allows the user to be given the freedom to choose and hire the service and the price of the service they want, based on a series of advertisements that promote the services of the drivers before an audience of potential customers generated by an operating system to show the offer of the drivers, of their services of transport of people and/or logistics and delivery of goods. The customers create their own community of favorite and trusted drivers to more easily hire that community of drivers when a service is required. The driver and the customer can agree on special and fixed prices between both parties so that the customer can hire their favorite and trusted drivers on a regular basis with the certainty that the prices are those agreed between both parties.

Abstract: An apparatus is described herein related to remote monitoring of perishable trade items in environmentally-controlled storage containers. Relevant changes in the container environment are detected through various sensors-based event detectors. A timer serves to trigger a plurality of distinct alert states, comprising pre-alerts and full alerts, following an event-initiated time threshold expiry. A data repository of generic merchandise data is accessed in order to derive suitable timer pre-sets in relation to time thresholds for alert states. An account configuration engine serves to customize the threshold presets to the specific items stored inside the container.

Abstract: An asset tag adapted to be mounted to an asset. Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting predetermined events occurring during delivery of an ordered product to a delivery address is provided. Upon receipt of a customer order, delivery of the ordered product is assigned to a delivery driver/vehicle which includes a stand-alone communication device disposed in the delivery vehicle. As the delivery trip begins, various position and acceleration information is collected by the communication device, processed to determine whether a predetermined driving event has occurred, and stored. This information is transmitted periodically to a processing system for eventual communication to a home location store associated with the delivery order. Additional processing of the delivery trip data may occur to enable a review of the delivery trip and any detected events along the delivery path.
