    摘要: In an assist-air type fuel injection device for an internal combustion engine in which an assist-air for atomizing fuel is supplied toward an injected fuel on the lower stream of a nozzle hole of a fuel injection valve, a pressure detection part for detecting a pressure of the above assist-air is provided at the fuel injection valve, and the pressure of the assist-air detected at the above pressure detection part is supplied as a signal pressure to a pressure regulator for regulating a fuel supply pressure to the fuel injection valve. Without being affected by the assist-air pressure, a fuel flow rate can be stabilized, whereby control accuracy of the fuel injection amount can be maintained favorably.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is an emission control device for use with a carburetor having a base and at least one fuel opening defined in its base. The device is comprised of a body member of predetermined thickness and defining therein at least one through opening. The through opening communicates with the fuel opening in the carburetor. The device also has an air passageway largely defined in its surface. The air passageway communicates with the through opening. The passageway lies generally adjacent the carburetor and the fuel opening so that air passed through the passageway passes into the through opening and under the fuel opening.

    摘要: A pneumatic direct cylinder fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine includes a pneumatic injector for each cylinder so as to supply a pressurized air/fuel charge to an associate stratified charge chamber forming a part of the associate combustion chamber preferably during the compression stroke of the associate piston, the quantity of fuel being supplied by an electromagnetic fuel injector. The pressurized air for the system can be supplied by an electrical or engine driven air pump or preferably the engine itself can be used as an air compressor with each cylinder having an air source control valve operatively associated therewith to control the flow of pressurized air during the compression stroke of the piston in its associate cylinder.
