Abstract:
This invention provides oligonucleotide based arrays and methods for speciating and phenotyping organisms, for example, using oligonucleotide sequences based on the Mycobacterium tuberculosis rpoB gene. The groups or species to which an organism belongs may be determined by comparing hybridization patterns of target nucleic acid from the organism to hybridization patterns in a database.

Abstract:
A plug terminal mounting arrangement includes a terminal holder base holding six terminals in respective terminal slots thereon. A U-shaped metal plate and a metal connecting block are fastened to front and rear side walls of the terminal holder base. Six U-shaped locating plates are respectively coupled between adjacent V-shaped locating blocks at the rear side of the terminal holder base. A seven-line power cord has seven wires respectively connected to the metal connecting blocks and the terminals. The V-shaped locating blocks have a partition board arranged between the legs of the V-shape for preventing the U-shaped locating plates from contacting one another. The terminal slots of the terminal holder base each having a rectangular cross section at one end adjacent the front side wall of the terminal holder base, and a T-shaped cross section at an opposite end adjacent the rear side wall of the terminal holder base. This structure of the terminal slots assists in proper location of the terminal within the terminal slots when the terminals are inserted into the terminal slots and pressed forward by a press.
Abstract:
An electrical female connector installed in a caravan for connection to a matching electrical male connector including a first terminal and a plurality of second terminals respectively mounted in axially extended center through hole and axially extended border through holes at a connector body inside a housing and connected to respective electrical wires of a cable fastened to the housing, wherein the connector body has a plurality of radial through holes through which screw can be respectively inserted and threaded into a respective screw hole at each second terminals to fix the respective electrical wires to the second terminals; the axially extended border through holes of the connector body are stepped, hexagonal through holes; the second terminals are stepped terminals each having a hexagonal upper section respectively fitted into and received inside the stepped, hexagonal border through holes at the connector body.
Abstract:
A distance learning system consists of a plurality of multi-cast clients of various classes and priorities with one multi-cast client as a primary multi-cast client, a multi-cast server, arbitrator and a distance learning session coordinator. The primary multi-cast client provides the default or primary Audio-Visual Material (AVM) stream. The Multi-Cast Server (MCS) setups a multi-cast over a point to multi-point connection which connects all multi-cast clients that are to take part in a particular distance learning session, along with the Primary multi-cast client. Additionally, the primary multi-cast client is connected to the MCS via a point-to-point link. The multi-cast clients and the primary multi-cast client receive an AVM material stream from the multi-cast server via the point to multi-point connection. When a multi-cast client wishes to speak, a speaking request is sent to the arbitrator, the arbitrator determines whether to grant or deny the speaking request. If permission is granted then a point-to-point link is established between the requesting multi-cast client and the MCS. The requesting multi-cast client then provides an AVM stream to the multi-cast server over the newly established point-to-point connection and the multi-cast server switches or provides the AVM stream associated with the requesting multi-cast Client over the point to multi-point connection. When the requesting multi-cast client is through speaking the MCS switches the AVM stream associated with the primary multi-cast client onto the point to multi-point connection and the point-to-point link with the requesting multi-cast client is terminated.
Abstract:
A lateral tear tape stand comprises a base plate; a lower cover body closely disposed on the base plate and having a lateral opening and a longitudinal opening; a controlling member having one end movably fixed on the base plate and the other end outwardly extending through the longitudinal opening; a driving mechanism having a first member, a second member and a spring member for rotatably connecting one end of the first member and that of the second member, the other end of the first member rotatably disposed on the lower cover body and that of the second member outwardly extending through the lateral opening; a pushing mechanism having a laterally elongated pushing plate projecting from the first member and contacting with the controlling member, and a flexible member for connecting the laterally elongated pushing plate with the lower cover body; a hollow and cylindrical driven member irreversibly sheathed on the driving mechanism and having serrated inner wall for irreversably and removably engaging with the other end of the second member; and an upper cover having a vertical edge and a knife member inwardly removable disposed on the vertical edge of the cover such that the clearance between the knife member and the edge of the cover equals to the thickness of a lateral tear tape.
Abstract:
A hotspot communication stabilization system includes a hotspot communication stabilizer. The hotspot communication stabilizer includes a connected device address search unit and a comparator. The connected device address search unit serves to obtain at least one connection address from a communication host device at regular or irregular intervals. The connection address is an address of a peripheral communication device connected to the communication host device and is stored in a connection address table. The comparator serves to determine whether there is a missing address in the connection address table at a current time by comparing two connection addresses of the peripheral communication device at two adjacent times. The missing address is sent to the communication host device and the communication host device re-establishes a hotspot signal connection to the missing address corresponded to a corresponding peripheral communication device.
Abstract:
The present invention provides immunogenic compositions having one or more polysaccharide-protein conjugates in which polysaccharides obtained from bacterial capsules are conjugated to diphtheria toxin fragment B (DTFB) or a variant thereof. The immunogenic compositions may be multivalent pneumococcal polysaccharide conjugate compositions in which polysaccharides from one or more Steptococcus pneumoniae serotypes are conjugated to diphtheria toxin fragment B (DTFB) and, optionally, additional polysaccharides from one or more different Steptococcus pneumoniae serotypes are conjugated to one or more other carrier proteins.
Abstract:
A recycled fancy yarn includes at least two core strands forming a warp thread, and at least one ornamental strand that is twined, twisted or wound around the warp thread to form a weft thread. The core strand is formed by a single first monofilament or a single first filament bundle, and the ornamental strand is formed by a single second monofilament or a single second filament bundle. The first monofilament and/or second monofilament is made of an environmentally friendly material; or the recycled fancy yarn can be recycled or naturally decomposed in the environment, such that the quantity of produced wastes can be reduced, and environmental burden is hardly caused.
