    摘要: A task to be performed using an industrial vehicle is defined and segmented into segments including a start segment and an end segment. The performance of the industrial vehicle while the industrial vehicle performs the segments is measured, and a target score for the task based on an extrinsic factor that is in effect at least one time during performance of the task is defined. The measured performance of the industrial vehicle during the segments is aggregated to create a task performance score, which is evaluated to the target score to create a task evaluation.

    摘要: A materials handling vehicle includes a power unit; a load handling assembly coupled to the power unit; at least one obstacle detector mounted to the power unit; and a controller. The at least one obstacle detector detects object located along a path of travel of the power unit, and generate a distance signal upon detecting an object corresponding to a distance between the detected object and the power unit. The controller receives the distance signal and generates a corresponding vehicle stop or predetermined maximum allowable speed signal based on the distance signal, wherein if a sensed object is located within a speed zone associated with a predetermined maximum allowable travel speed comprising a fixed speed greater than zero (0) miles per hour, as determined by the distance signal, the vehicle speed is reduced to the predetermined maximum allowable vehicle speed.

    摘要: The present application discloses a method for measuring pressurized liquid fuel level in a fuel tank used on a vehicle comprising measuring the pressure of the fuel to generate a pressure signal and measuring the temperature of the fuel to generate a temperature signal. A fuel level signal is determined from the pressure signal and the temperature signal and changes in the fuel level signal are determined over time. A first point of the fuel level signal indicating approaching emptying of the tank is identified when changes in the fuel level signal exceed a given value and the approaching emptying of the tank is signaled to an operator of the vehicle in response to identifying the first point. Also disclosed is a fuel level meter system comprising a display comprising a series of at least three light sources arranged in a generally vertical column with a bottommost one of the at least three light sources being of a first color and light sources above the bottommost one of the at least three light sources being of a second color.

    摘要: A de-centralized operational indicator system comprises a communication module and an output module. The communication module includes a vehicle interface that communicates with electronics of a materials handling vehicle. The communication module also includes an information system interface, and a controller that is connected to the vehicle interface and the information system interface. The output module is coupled to the information system interface of the communication module, and includes a first output device, and a second output device. The first output device is oriented in a first direction that is detectable by an operator of the materials handling vehicle when the operator is within an operating compartment of the materials handling vehicle. The second output device is oriented in a second direction that is detectable outside of materials handling vehicle.
