摘要： An artifical tooth comprises a contacting member formed of a composite material having compatibility with living tissues and diaposed at an outer portion of the artificial tooth to be contacted with alveolar bone, a metal base member having an opening therein and disposed inside of and attached to the contacting member, a metal post inserted into the opening of the metal base member and at least two elastic buffer members disposed in a space between the metal base member and the metal post. The composite material having compatibility with living tissues contains 40 to 95% by weight of a calcium phosphate compound and 60 to 5% by weight of an organic polymer. Each of the elastic buffer members is spaced apart for movably receiving the metal post by which pressure imposed upon the artificial tooth is transmitted.

摘要： An internal combustion engine (2) of a vehicle (1A, 1B) is automatically stopped when a first automatic stopping condition is established while the vehicle is stationary or a second automatic stopping condition is established while the vehicle travels. The first automatic stopping condition requires a road gradient equal to or smaller than a first gradient threshold, and the second automatic stopping condition requires the road gradient equal to or smaller than a second gradient threshold. By setting the second gradient threshold at a smaller value than the first gradient threshold, a feeling of unease experienced by a driver when the engine is stopped on a slope is reduced.

By setting the second threshold to be greater than the first threshold, opportunities for automatically stopping the internal combustion engine (2) are secured while satisfying a power requirement of an electrical load (26, 27) during restarting of the internal combustion engine (2).

摘要： Disclosed is a superconducting compound which has a structure obtained by partially substituting oxygen ions of a compound, which is represented by the following chemical formula; LnTMOPh [wherein Ln represents at least one element selected from Y and rare earth metal elements (La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb and Lu), TM represents at least one element selected from transition metal elements (Fe, Ru, Os, Ni, Pd and Pt), and Pn represents at least one element selected from pnictide elements (N, P, As and Sb)] and has a ZrCuSiAs-type crystal structure (space group P4/nmm), with at least one kind of monovalent anion (F−, Cl− or Br−). The superconducting compound alternatively has a structure obtained by partially substituting Ln ions of the compound with at least one kind of tetravalent metal ion (Ti4+, Zr4+, Hf4+, C4+, Si4+, Ge4+, Sn4+ or Pb4+) or a structure obtained by partially substituting Ln ions of the compound with at least one kind of divalent metal ion (Mg2+, Ca2+, Sr2+ or Ba2+). The Tc of the superconducting compound is controlled in accordance with the ion substitution amount.

This application discloses a sealant for liquid crystals comprising as essential ingredients (a) a radiation-curable resin represented by the general formula (1): wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R2 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a linear, branch or cyclic monovalent alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, or an alkoxy group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, m represents an integer of 1 to 4, and may be the same or different, R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and the number n of the repeating units is a positive number in the range of 0 to 20; (b) a photopolymerization initiator; and (c) an inorganic filler having an average particle diameter of 3 μm or less.
