    摘要: When starting charging of an internal battery as a result of connection of an external power source by an AC adapter, a charging control unit sets a first charging voltage at which the charging capacity of the internal battery is maximized. When starting the charging from recognition of reduced capacity of the internal battery due to its self-discharge in desk-top use where the AC adapter is in connection at all times, the charging control unit sets a second charging voltage lower than the first charging voltage to prevent the battery from degrading.

    摘要: A system comprises: a portable computer main body having therein a power source circuit section having a battery pack; and a plurality of auxiliary battery units which are mechanically connected and fixed to a casing of the computer main body and are electrically connected in series to a power source input terminal. A charge/discharge control section is provided for each of the auxiliary battery units. The charge/discharge control section sequentially charges from the auxiliary battery unit locating on the computer main body side when charging. On the contrary, the charge/discharge control section sequentially discharges from the auxiliary battery unit on the opposite side which is farthest from the computer main body when discharging. There is also a system construction having a single auxiliary battery unit.

    摘要: A thermoplastic resin composition comprising 10 to 60 parts of a graft copolymer (A) and 90 to 40 parts of a rigid copolymer (B), both defined below:(A) The graft copolymer obtained by emulsion graft polymerizing 60 to 20 parts of a specific monomer mixture in the presence of 40 to 80 parts (as solids) of an ethylene-propylene-non-conjugated diene copolymer-containing cross-linked latex containing 0.1 to 20 parts of a modified low molecular weight .alpha.-olefin copolymer in 100 parts of an ethylene-propylene-non-conjugated diene copolymer.(B) The rigid copolymer containing 60 to 76% of an aromatic vinyl type monomer, 40 to 24% of a vinyl cyanide type monomer, and 0 to 30% of a monomer copolymerizable with these monomers.In the production of the graft copolymer (A), a redox type initiator and a monomer mixture are added to the polymerization system continuously over a period of one hour.
