A method of operating an electrolyzer in a combined cycle power plant comprises operating a steam system to convert water to steam, operating an electrolyzer in a standby mode, the electrolyzer configured to convert water and electricity to hydrogen and oxygen when the electrolyzer is in an operating mode, circulating water from the steam system through a heat exchanger, circulating a first heat transfer medium between the electrolyzer and the heat exchanger, and circulating a second heat transfer medium between the heat exchanger and a thermal storage container.

摘要: Provided is a fuel supply system including a main ammonia line through which liquid ammonia flows; a vaporizer connected to an end of the main ammonia line and configured to heat and vaporize the liquid ammonia via heat exchange between a heating medium and the liquid ammonia; a gaseous ammonia line connected to the vaporizer, the gaseous ammonia line configured to guide a gaseous ammonia, which is ammonia vaporized by the vaporizer, as fuel to a combustor of a gas turbine; a liquid ammonia line configured to guide liquid ammonia which has not undergone heat exchange with the heating medium at the vaporizer as fuel to the combustor; and a switching device configured to switch an ammonia supply state between a first state in which the gaseous ammonia is guided from the gaseous ammonia line to the combustor and a second state in which the liquid ammonia is guided from the liquid ammonia line to the combustor.

摘要: A gas turbine arrangement for dual fuel operation has a first manifold that delivers a first fuel or compressor bleed fluid and is connected to a bleed port and a first passage for ejecting fuel or fluid into a combustor space. A second manifold delivers a second fuel and is connected to a second passage for ejecting the second fuel into the combustor space. A control system, when operated with the second fuel, provides the second fuel to the second manifold and continuously opens the bleed valve to provide bleed fluid into the first manifold to replace the first fuel. The control system controls the bleed valve over time by throttling a mass flow of the bleed fluid provided to the first passage or by increasing a mass flow of the bleed fluid provided to the first passage to adapt to fuel properties of the second fuel.

摘要: Methods and systems for dynamically planning a well site are provided herein. Methods include flowing a raw gas stream though a suction scrubber to form a feed gas stream and compressing the feed gas stream to form a compressed gas stream. Methods include cooling the compressed gas stream in a cooler to produce a cooled gas stream. Methods include feeding the cooled gas stream into a gas treatment system, using a turboexpander, to produce a conditioned gas and a waste stream. Methods include heating the conditioned gas in a heat exchanger, where the conditioned gas is a superheated, sweetened, gas. Methods also include burning the conditioned gas in a turbine generator and mixing the waste stream into the raw gas stream upstream of the suction scrubber.

摘要: A hybrid power generation system using solar energy and bioenergy, including a solar thermal boiler system, a biomass boiler system, and a turbogenerator system. The solar thermal boiler system includes a trough solar collector, a heat collector, an oil circulating pump, a storage tank for storing heat transfer oil, a solar thermal heater, a solar thermal evaporator, a main pipe transporting saturated steam, and an auxiliary boiler. Heat transfer oil output from a solar light field of the solar thermal boiler system is transmitted through and transfers heat to the solar thermal evaporator and the solar thermal heater, and the heat transfer oil returns to the storage tank for storing heat transfer oil. The heat transfer oil in the storage tank is pumped to the solar light field via the oil circulating pump.

摘要: A process for treating a waste feedstock using a gasifier and the gasifier for same. Hot exhaust from an engine travels through a series of hollow heating plates stacked vertically within a gasifier reactor with spaces between each set of successive heating plates forming reaction zones. Each reaction zone is divided into an upper treatment area and a lower treatment area by a rotating disk. Waste material travels from an outer feed spot along the top surface of the rotating disk radially inwardly to a drop area located at the radially innermost portion where it drops to the top surface of the hollow heating plate below. The waste material is then conveyed radially outward to a chute to the next reaction zone or once fully processed to an exit from the reactor. Vapors from the waste material are drawn off each reaction zone through an outlet for further processing.

摘要: A process for the conversion of a hydrocarbon to CO2 and electrical power is described which includes subjecting a gas mixture of a hydrocarbon feed stream and steam to an integrated reforming process including stages of steam reforming in a gas-heated reformer and secondary reforming to generate a reformed gas mixture, increasing the hydrogen content of the reformed gas mixture by subjecting it to one or more water-gas-shift stages, cooling the resulting hydrogen-enriched reformed gas and separating condensed water therefrom, passing the resulting de-watered hydrogen-enriched reformed gas to one or more stages of carbon dioxide separation to recover carbon dioxide, combusting the remaining hydrogen-containing fuel stream with an oxygen containing gas in a gas turbine to generate electrical power and passing the exhaust gas mixture from the gas turbine to a heat recovery steam generation system that feeds one or more steam turbines to generate additional electrical power.
