    摘要: A method for reducing pollutant emissions uses a two-stage primary combustion process for a solid-containing fuel including a primary furnace having a combustion chamber, a solid fuel burnout zone and a primary flue-gas post combustion chamber, and a separate secondary combustion train. The fuel is burned in the primary combustion chamber while supplying primary gas in a substoichiometric amount so as to form high heating-value gas and low-carbon solid residue. A partial stream of this gas is diverted and the remainder is passed to the post-combustion chamber. The diverted stream is passed to the secondary combustion train, which includes a conditioner, a secondary combustion chamber and an energy recovery device. Energy-spent exhaust gas from the train is recirculated to the furnace upstream of the post-combustion chamber in which it is burned with the remainder of the high heating value gas and an oxygen-containing gas supplied in superstoichiometric amounts.

    摘要: The invention provides an apparatus for processing material such as organically coated waste and organic materials including biomass, industrial waste, municipal solid waste and sludge, comprising a processing chamber (2) for processing said material at an elevated temperature to produce syngas and a combustion chamber (4) having at least one burner therein for combusting syngas released by processing of said material. A conduit means (18) is provided between said combustion chamber and said processing chamber for carrying hot exhaust gasses from the combustion chamber (4) to said processing chamber (2) and at last one mirror (24) is arranged to reflect and concentrate sunlight thereby to cause the temperature within said processing chamber (2) to be raised. The apparatus also includes a syngas reservoir (66). A storage conduit (62) is provided for carrying syngas into said syngas reservoir (66) and a syngas feed line (68) is provided for feeding syngas from said reservoir to said combustion chamber (4).

    摘要: In an improved system for recovering heat from a combustion gas produced by burning wastes, the combustion gas or combustible gas produced by partial burning of the wastes subjected to dust filtration in a temperature range of 450-650° C. at a filtration velocity of 1-5 cm/sec under a pressure of from −5 kPa (gage) to 5 MPa before heat recovery is effected. The dust filtration is preferably performed using a filter medium which may or may not support a denitration catalyst. Heat recovery is preferably effected using a steam superheater. The dust-free gas may partly or wholly be reburnt with or without an auxiliary fuel to a sufficiently high temperature to permit heat recovery. The combustion furnace may be a gasifying furnace which, in turn, may be combined with a melting furnace. If desired, the reburning to a higher temperature may be performed under pressure and the obtained hot combustion gas is supplied to a gas turbine to generate electricity, followed by introduction of the exhaust gas from the gas turbine into a steam superheater for further heat recovery. The system can raise the temperature of superheated steam to a sufficient level to enhance the efficiency of power generation without possibility of corrosion of heat transfer pipes by the combustion gas or combustible gas.
