Abstract: A transmission method is applied to a tunneled direct link setup (TDLS) such that different stations (STAs) associated with a same multiple basic service set identifier (BSSID) set communicate with each other based on the TDLS, to implement point-to-point communication. In the method, a first STA sends a first radio frame. The first radio frame includes initiator address information, responder address information, and a first BSSID. The first BSSID is in the multiple BSSID set including a BSSID of a basic service set (BSS) in which the first STA is located. The first STA receives a second radio frame. The second radio frame is a response frame of the first radio frame.

Abstract: A solution for initiating a network session (e.g., a voice call) for a user equipment (UE) on a network includes: receiving a session initiation message at a first network node; appending, to the session initiation message, an identification of a policy node; passing the appended session initiation message to a session management node; selecting, by the session management node, the identified policy node; and based at least upon selecting the identified policy node, initiating the network session for the UE. This improves call setup reliability by reducing the risk that an error in the subscriber information at the session management node (e.g., proxy-call session control function (P-CSCF)) indicates the incorrect policy node (e.g., policy and charging rule function (PCRF) or policy charging function (PCF)). In some examples, the session initiation message may comprise a session initiation protocol (SIP) message.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for session management in a wireless network are disclosed. For example, a user endpoint (UE) device, sends a request for a session internet protocol (IP) address assignment using an interface IP address, configures the UE device with the session IP address, provides to a controller an association of the interface and session IP addresses, and receives packets addressed to the session IP address via an access network entity associated with the interface IP address. In one example, a controller receives an association of an interface IP address with a session IP address from an attached UE device, provides to a network node an update on a route to reach the session IP address through the interface IP address, identifies an active interface IP address to receive packets, and configures an open flow switch or router for routing the packets towards the active interface IP address.

Abstract: A method and system includes the ability for individuals to set up an ad hoc digital and voice network easily and rapidly to allow users to coordinate their activities by eliminating the need for pre-entry of data into a web or identifying others by name, phone numbers or email. This method is especially useful for police, fire fighters, military, first responders or other emergency situations for coordinating different organizations at the scene of a disaster to elevate conventional communication problems either up and down the chain of command or cross communication between different emergency units. The method and system provides that the users are only required to enter a specific Server IP address and an ad hoc event name, a password and perhaps the name of the particular unit.

Abstract: Proposed are a method and device for acquiring information on links between MLDs in a wireless LAN system. Specifically, a receiving MLD transmits a probe request frame to a transmitting MLD through a first link. The receiving MLD receives a probe response frame from the transmitting MLD through the first link. The transmitting MLD comprises: a first transmitting STA operating in the first link; a second transmitting STA operating in a second link; and a third transmitting STA operating in a third link. The receiving MLD comprises a first receiving STA operating in the first link. When the first receiving STA requests for information on the second and third links, the probe request frame includes link identifiers for the second and third links. When the first receiving STA requests for information on all the links, the probe request frame does not include link identifiers for all the links.

Abstract: A load control system may include control devices capable of being associated with each other at one or more locations for performing load control. Control devices may include control-source devices and/or control-target devices. A location beacon may be discovered and a unique identifier in the location beacon may be associated with a unique identifier of one or more control devices. Upon subsequent discovery of the location beacon, the associated load control devices may be controlled. The beacons may be communicated via radio frequency signals, visible light communication, and/or audio signals. The visible light communication may be used to communicate other types of information to devices in the load control system. The visible light communication may be used to identify link addresses for communicating with load control devices, load control instructions, load control configuration instructions, network communication information, and/or the like. The information in the beacons may be used to commission and/or control the load control system.
