Preferably, this resin composition has a moisture content of 1000 ppm or less and a chlorine content of 1000 ppm or less. This resin composition is an energy beam-curable resin composition having accurate coating properties, excellent adhesiveness, low moisture permeability, excellent adhesive durability, and excellent storage stability.

摘要: A shoe sole composition and method for making a shoe sole are provided. The shoe sole includes a composition comprising a foamed silane-crosslinked polyolefin elastomer having a density less than 0.50 g/cm3. The shoe sole exhibits a compression set of from about 5.0% to about 20.0%, as measured according to ASTM D 395 (6 hrs @ 50° C.). The foamed silane-crosslinked polyolefin elastomer can be produced from a blend including a first polyolefin having a density less than 0.86 g/cm3, a second polyolefin, having a crystallinity less than 40%, a silane crosslinker, a grafting initiator, a condensation catalyst, and a foaming agent.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to articles formed from polycarbonate prepared according to a melt polymerization method wherein. An article prepared by a process comprising the steps of: forming a polycarbonate resin via melt transesterification; mixing a flame retardant component to form a composition, wherein the mixing is accomplished as an online operation; and forming the article from the composition, wherein the article achieves a better flame rating than a comparative article formed from a substantially identical reference composition comprising the same loading of the polycarbonate resin and the flame retardant component, but a mixing of the polycarbonate resin and the flame retardant component of the substantially identical reference composition is accomplished as an offline operation.

摘要: Process for producing a hydrophobic composite bioelastomer, comprising a cross-linked bioelastomer matrix in which an organic phase is dispersed, comprising the reaction of cross-linking of a hydroxyl-terminated polysiloxane with a silane coupling agent, comprising an acetoxysilane, to obtain a cross-linked polysiloxane with release of acetic acid. The reaction of cross-linking is carried out in the presence of starch to cause at least partial in situ acetylation by the acetic acid released from said starch that is incorporated in the cross-linked bioelastomer matrix.

摘要: A composition for an electric wire coating material, the composition being a silane-crosslinkable polyolefin-based composition that has excellent flame retardancy and being able to reduce a moisture adsorption amount, and an insulated electric wire and a wire harness that use this composition. The composition containing a silane-crosslinked polyolefin as a main component, contains a silane-grafted polyolefin obtained by grafting a silane coupling agent onto a polyolefin having a density of 0.860 to 0.920 g/cm3, an unmodified polyolefin having a density of 0.860 to 0.955 g/cm3, a copolymerized polyolefin of a polymerizable compound having one or two functional groups selected from a carboxy group and an epoxy group and at least one polymerizable monomer that can be copolymerized with the polymerizable compound having the functional groups, an inorganic flame retardant or inorganic-flame retardant auxiliary agent, and an crosslinking catalyst.
