    摘要: A surface treatment agent which is chromate-free and which can impart excellent coating adhesion and corrosion resistance to a metal material (in particular, a metal material treated with a phosphate), a surface treatment method that uses the surface treatment agent, and a surface treated metal material that is treated using the method are provided. The agent is for a metal material and contains a water-soluble ethylene glycol monoalkyl ether. It is preferable for this surface treatment agent to contain at least one type of metal compound selected from among a water-soluble vanadium compound, a water-soluble titanium compound, a water-soluble zirconium compound and a water-soluble hafnium compound.

    摘要: Provided are a novel chemical conversion treatment agent which is capable of forming, on/over the surface of a metal material, a chemical conversion coating which is superior in corrosion resistance, a method for producing a chemical conversion coating on/over the surface of a metal material with the use of the chemical conversion treatment agent, a metal material having a coating, and a painted metal material.The problem mentioned above can be solved by the chemical conversion treatment agent for forming a coating on/over the surface of a metal material, which characterized by containing: an ion containging at least one metal selected from the group consisting of titanium, zirconium and hafnium; a fluorine ion; at least one selected from the group consisting of an alkanesulfonic acid, an alkanolsulfonic acid, and ions thereof; and an ion containing trivalent iron.

    摘要: A composition for direct-current cathodic electrolysis. The composition is capable of forming a lubrication-film-equipped metal material exhibiting excellent lubrication properties and excellent chemical conversion properties after degreasing. This composition for direct-current cathodic electrolysis includes: (A) at least one metal ion selected from the group consisting of typical metal ions (excluding zinc ion) having a valency of at least 2 and rare-earth-element ions, or a complex thereof; (B) an organic acid compound including, in the molecule thereof, a carboxyl group, and a straight-chain alkylene group having at least 4 carbon atoms; and (C) water.

    摘要: A process for metal surface treatment includes dipping a metallic material with a cleaned surface into a composition containing 5 to 30% by weight of a nonionic and/or cationic water-based resin, 100 to 1,000 ppm of trivalent Bi ions, and an aminopolycarboxylic acid at 0.5 to 10 times in molar concentration based on the Bi ions, then performing a first electrolysis using the metallic material as a cathode at a voltage of 0 to 15 V for 10 to 120 seconds, and performing a second electrolysis at a voltage of 50 to 300 V for 30 to 300 seconds, in which the performing the first electrolysis is prior to the performing the second electrolysis, and thereafter rising with water, and baking to deposit a film over the metallic material.

    摘要: The present invention addresses the problem of providing, a metal surface treatment agent capable of exhibiting excellent corrosion resistance and excellent coating adhesion in painted metal materials; and a metal surface treatment method using the metal surface treatment agent. The problem is solved by a pretreatment agent that is used in a pretreatment of a chemical conversion treatment performed for forming a chemical conversion coating on/over a surface of a metal material, the pretreatment agent containing: a metal alkoxide (A) containing at least one metal element selected from zirconium, titanium, vanadium, and aluminum; and at least one sulfonic acid (B) selected from methanesulfonic acid, ethanesulfonic acid, hydroxymethanesulfonic acid, and hydroxyethanesulfonic acid. The problem is also solved by a chemical conversion treatment agent that contains a zirconium alkoxide (a) and a zirconium-containing ion supply source (b), and has a pH of 1.5 to 6.5.
