    摘要: Method for taking a test using a smartphone including placing the smartphone into connection with a device, placing the device on a head of a person with the smartphone in a position in which a display of the smartphone is visible to the person, coupling the smartphone to the device and displaying test questions on the display. Cheating is detected by, for example, monitoring presence of the device on the head of the person by periodically obtaining biometric data from the person and analyzing a change in the biometric data relative to previously obtained biometric data for the person, and when a change is present, stopping display of the test questions and generating and transmitting a communication to a test-providing institution derived from the change in biometric data.

The combiner assembly includes an inwardmost layer that is reflective and reflects content of the display assembly to the person's eyes, an intermediate layer that controls light transmission through the combiner assembly, and an outwardmost layer that covers the second layer and provides notification of intrusion attempts into the second layer.

    摘要: Headpiece for test-taking includes a frame having support structure for supporting the frame on a person's head and a viewing portion configured to be in front of the person's face when the frame is supported on the person's head, and at least one light valve assembly arranged in the viewing portion. Each light valve assembly has a first state in which the person is able to see therethrough and an alternative second state in which viewing therethrough is prevented. A controller controls whether the light valve assembly is in the first state or the second state to thereby control viewing therethrough. The light valve assembly may be situated rearward of part of the viewing portion. Only the headpiece wearer is thus able to view test questions on a display through the light valve assembly.

    摘要: Electrical system for a vehicle that provides power and communications to vehicular devices includes a (singular) electrical bus having elongate wires, and connector assemblies situated at different locations along the wires. The connector assemblies include a splice housing defining an inlet and outlet for the wires, the wires passing from the inlet to the outlet through the splice housing without being interrupted, and a connector attached to the splice housing. An electrical conduit, such as one or more wires, is attached at one end region to each connector and at an opposite end region to a respective cluster or cluster control unit. Each cluster or cluster control unit is electrically coupled to at least one vehicular device. Power and communications are provided to the vehicular devices by a power source and communications source through the bus.

A toll is determined at the remote site based on the toll database and the vehicle location which is the lane-specific location of the vehicle or based on at least two vehicle locations each of which is a lane-specific location of the vehicle.
