摘要: A medical device includes a body and at least one electrode disposed thereon. The electrode includes a metallic substrate, such as a platinum group metal, an alloy of platinum group metals, or gold. The surface of the substrate is modified in a manner that increases its effective surface area without inducing bulk heating. For example, the surface of the substrate can be laser textured and/or coated, such as with titanium nitride or iridium oxide.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for identifying a product in an image and outputting stock keeping units of the product. The system comprises three main components: a database server, a data analytics system and a standard dashboard. The database server contains real-time inventory images as well as historical images of each product type. The data analytics system is executed by a computer processor configured to apply a multi-head self-supervised learning-based classifier to detect product information captured by the image. The data analytics system is also configured to determine hierarchical classification categories for the product. The standard dashboard is configured to output a report regarding the product information.

摘要: A batting training aid includes a base, a vertically-extending brace or leg supported by the base, and a plane attached to an upper end of the brace via a joint. The brace allows for adjustment of the height of the plane, while the joint between the plane and the brace allows the plane to roll, pitch, and/or yaw to mimic optimal swing planes for different pitch locations/angles and batter heights. The training aid can incorporate a batting tee for tee work and/or a resistive medium to approximate contact during dry swings. A guide bar can be provided above the plane to prevent a hitter from swinging down on the ball. Sensors can be incorporated into the training aid to measure one or more swing metrics, such as bat speed; data collected by the sensors can be transmitted to external devices such as smartphones, tablets, personal computers, and the like.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided to aggregate and analyze data from a plurality of data sources. The system may obtain data from a plurality of data sources. The system may also transform data from each of the plurality of data sources into a format that is compatible for combining the data from the plurality of data sources. The system uses a data harmonization module to organize, classify, analyze and thus relate previously unrelated data stored in multiple databases and/or associated with different organizations. The system can generate and publish master data of a plurality of business entities.

摘要: A medical device, such as an electrophysiology catheter, has an elongate body including a wall. A reinforcing layer is encapsulated in the wall. The reinforcing layer includes one or more reinforcing fibers having glass cores and polymer claddings. In embodiments, the one or more reinforcing fibers are non-magnetically-susceptible and non-electrically-conductive, facilitating use of the medical device in connection with procedures such as magnetic resonance imaging (“MRI”).

摘要: A method for determining a predicted lesion size formed in a tissue by receiving or calculating a measure of contact force between the electrode and the tissue, determining a tissue characterization, and calculating the predicted lesion size using both the measure of contact force and the tissue characterization. A system comprising an electronic control unit configured to receive or determine a measure of contact force between the electrode and the tissue, characterize the tissue based on both the measure of impedance and the measure of contact force, and cause the tissue characterization to be either (a) presented to a user, or (b) applied to calculate a metric and cause the metric to be presented to the user.

摘要: Methods are provided for targeting cancer cells that over-express voltage-gated sodium channels (VGSCs or “sodium channels”) and causing osmotic lysis of these cancer cells by initially inhibiting the sodium, potassium-adenosine triphosphatase (Na+, K+-ATPase or “sodium pump”), and then stimulating the VGSCs by pulsed magnetic field gradients to cause sodium and water to enter the cancer cells.

摘要: The signal quality of an electrophysiological signal can be determined from information regarding proximal stability of an electrophysiology catheter at the time the signal is acquired and temporal stability of the electrophysiological signal. The proximal stability information can include a distance between the electrophysiology catheter and an anatomical surface, a velocity of the electrophysiology catheter, and/or contact force between the electrophysiology catheter and the anatomical surface. Graphical representations of signal quality scores can be output to a display in order to enable visualization thereof by a practitioner.

摘要: A method and apparatus that utilizes a force-time integral for real time estimation of steam pop in catheter-based ablation systems. The apparatus measures the force exerted by a contact ablation probe on a target tissue and an energization parameter delivered to the ablation probe. The exerted force and energization parameter can be utilized to provide an estimation of the probability of steam pop. In one embodiment, the force and energization metrics can be used as feedback to establish a desired contact force and energization level combination to prevent steam popping.
