摘要: In accordance with embodiments disclosed herein, there are provided apparatus, systems and methods for implementing and using optimized control systems for aggregation of multiple broadband connections over radio interfaces. For example, such a system may include: a processor and a memory to perform instructions embodied by the system; a plurality of antennas; a traffic coordinator to interface to two or more wireless communications nodes together, through the system, in which each of the wireless communications nodes have access to a wide Area Network (WAN) backhaul connection independent of the system; a first wireless communications interface to a first wireless communication node established via a first of the plurality of antennas, the first wireless communications node having access to a first WAN backhaul connection; a second wireless communications interface to a second wireless communications node established via a second of the plurality of antennas, the second wireless communications node having access to a second WAN backhaul connection distinct from the first WAN backhaul connection; and a control module to receive information on traffic flows through the system and a radio environment within which the system operates, in which the control module to: issue commands to control the formation and continuation of connections of the first and second wireless communications interfaces to WAN connections and WAN backhaul connections, and to further provide scheduling and routing instructions for the WAN connections and WAN backhaul connections. Other related embodiments are disclosed.

摘要: Described herein are systems and methods for closed loop automation between a plurality of wireless network nodes. Multiple closed loops may operate among the plurality of wireless network nodes to provide optimized performance of networks, devices, services and/or applications of one or more managed entities located among the plurality of wireless network nodes. The wireless network nodes may comprise one or more wireless network function, wireless control function, wireless network element or wireless network segment. Multiple decision elements reside at any of the plurality of wireless network nodes and perform data collection, analysis, and provide output to one or more managed entities. The multiple closed loops can provide multiple layers of computing, including one or more of cloud computing, edge computing, and/or local computing on a device. Collectively, the plurality of network nodes can form a mobile network such as a cellular network.

摘要: Presented are methods and systems for a software agent in an AP to recognize a service type used by a wireless communication station and optimize the wireless communication network's operation. Methods comprise acquiring communication status from a communication apparatus that may comprise a wireless communication station, a wireless LAN, wired LAN, and/or a broadband connection; learning a classifier that maps the acquired communication status to service types by analyzing historical communication status; and recognizing the service type of a wireless communication station by inputting a current communication status to the classifier. The recognized service type may be used to diagnose the operation of communication networks and stations coupled to the AP and to optimize the operation of such communication networks and stations.

摘要: Described is a method for estimating throughput between first and second communication devices, the method comprising: determining maximum bottleneck throughput of a communication link between the first communication device and a third communication device, wherein the communication link between the first and third communication devices applies a common access network as between a communication link between the first and second communication devices; determining Round Trip Time (RTT) between the first and second communication devices; transmitting packet by applying User Datagram Protocol (UDP) from the third communication device to the first communication device; measuring packet loss rate associated with the transmitted packet by monitoring sequence number of the packet; and translating measured packet loss rate to Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) throughput according to maximum bottleneck throughput and RTT.

摘要: The transmit power level of a transceiver coupled to a digital subscriber line (DSL) line is reduced from a first transmit power level sufficient for the transceiver to transmit data on the DSL line at a first bit rate to a second transmit power level below the first transmit power level sufficient for the transceiver to transmit data on the DSL line at a second bit rate that is lower than the first bit rate. The reduction in transmit power is limited so that the change does not induce time-varying crosstalk sufficient to destabilize a nearby DSL line. While the transmit power level of the transceiver is reduced to the second transmit power level, the transceiver is suspended from transmitting data on the DSL line for repeated periods of time. Suspending the data transmission is controlled to avoid further time-varying crosstalk sufficient to destabilize the nearby DSL line.
