    摘要: A Ni-based alloy hardened with the γ′ phase, which is able to exhibit not only superior strength at high temperatures, but also excellent hot corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance at high temperatures in spite of containing no Re or reducing the amount of Re. The Ni-based superalloy contains, by weight, C: 0.01 to 0.5%, B: 0.01 to 0.04%, Hf: 0.1 to 2.5%, Co: 0.8 to 15%, Ta: more than 0% but less than 8.5%, Cr: 1.5 to 16%, Mo: more than 0% but less than 1.0%, W: 5 to 14%, Ti: 0.1 to 4.75%, Al: 2.5 to 7%, Nb: more than 0% but less than 4%, V: 0 to less than 1.0%, Zr: 0 to less than 0.1%, Re: 0 to less than 9%, at least one of platinum group elements: 0 to less than 0.5% in total, at least one of rare earth elements: 0 to less than 0.1% in total, and the rest being Ni except for unavoidable impurities.

    摘要: In solid phase diffusion welding of a nickel base superalloy having nickel as a main component, an insert material for solid phase diffusion welding and method thereof are disclosed which can improve the welding strength, the insert material consists of an alloy containing 5-25% by atomic % of total atomic amount of at least one selected from aluminum, titanium, tantalum and niobium, [100-(total atomic % of aluminum, titanium, tantalum and niobium).times.4] % or less by atomic % of total atomic amount of at least one selected from chromium, cobalt, tungsten, molybdenum and zirconium and the balance being substantially nickel.After this insert material is previously subjected to heat treatment at between 700.degree. C. and melting point or plastic working, it is interposed between the welded surfaces and heated up to a temperature of the melting point or less of base metal in vacuum or inactive gas solid phase diffusion welding.

    摘要: This invention provides an oxide-type superconducting flat wire having a critical current density of at least 1,000 A/cm.sup.2, which comprises a Y--Ba--Cu oxide layer having a superconducting property and a silver layer surrounding the oxide layer and has so flat a cross section vertical to the longitudinal direction of the wire that the upper and lower lines between the oxide layer and the silver layers appearing on the cross section having a zone over they are parallel to each other, the thickness of the oxide layer being cold rolled in the range of 0.35 to 0.75 based on the whole thickness of the wire, the whole thickness being 0.2 mm or less, and the metal layer being deformable to follow the shrink deformation of the oxide layer when heat treated to be sintered, but rigid when used. This flat wire is produced by filling a silver-made tube with a Y--Ba--Cu oxide powder having a superconducting property, drawing the tube into a rod wire having a round cross section, then cold rolling the rod wire in the flat wire so that (t.sub.i -t)/t.sub.i .times.100 is equal to or greater than 90%, wherein t.sub.i is the whole thickness of the cross section of the rod wire before the cold rolling and t is the whole thickness of the cold-rolled flat wire, and then heat treating the flat wire to sinter the superconducting oxide.

A method of applying an aluminum coating to a nickel base alloy comprising the steps of forming an aluminide layer of Ni.sub.2 Al.sub.3 on the surface portion of the nickel base alloy by the diffusion and penetration of aluminum, and subjecting the alumide layer to heat treatment to change the aluminide layer to a monoaluminide layer and making the thickness ratio of a nickel rich NiAl layer to the whole monoaluminide layer be in the range between 20 and 40%.
