    摘要: A data storage device carrier system includes a carrier configured to support one or more data storage devices, a backplane, including one or more coupling connector devices configured to electrically couple with a motherboard, and an interposer board operable to couple a plurality of the data storage devices supported by the carrier with the backplane. In an embodiment, the one or more coupling connector devices are operable to transfer communication signals and electrical power. The interposer board is operable to provide the electrical power from a single port on the backplane to each of the plurality of the data storage devices. The interposer board is also operable to pass communication signals between a primary port on the backplane to a first one of the plurality of the data storage devices, and to pass communication signals between a secondary port on the backplane to a second one of the plurality of the data storage devices.

    摘要: Under a community environment, a system and a method for sharing network storage and computing resource are disclosed. In particular, the method employs some available-to-shared computer resources of a group member to share with others. The member may decide a specific storage space to be shared, or the unused computing resource of its processor for others. According to one of the embodiments, the method for storing includes a step of synchronizing the group information and a resource allocation table with records of storage nodes after logging on a community server. Next, a distributed storing process is performed to distribute an object across several nodes within a community group. The method for computing includes a step of generating a computing request from a user-end system. A distributed computation is accomplished since some computing nodes within a community group are allocated for the request according to a computing resource allocation table.

One embodiment provides housing and at least one disk coupled with the housing. In addition, an actuator is coupled to the housing, the actuator having a coil region with a voice coil and a plurality of voice coil yoke arms. At least one of a plurality of non-magnetic dampers is also coupled with each of the plurality of voice coil yoke arms and not with the voice coil. In so doing, the plurality of non-magnetic dampers are able to damp low frequency actuator coil torsion and coil bending resonances.

    摘要: A method of fabricating a packaging substrate is disclosed. A cladding sheet comprised of a first metal foil, a second metal foil and an etch stop layer interposed between the first and second metal foils is provided. The first metal foil is then patterned into a first circuit trace. An insulating layer is laminated onto the first circuit trace. Thereafter, the second metal foil is patterned into a plurality of bump pads. The etch stop layer that is not covered by the bump pads is stripped off. A solder mask is applied to fill the spacing between the bump pads. A top surface of each of the bump pads is etched to form a bonding aperture in a self-aligned fashion.

    摘要: A receiver includes a mixer, a poly phase filter, a channel select filter, an analog-to-digital converter and a HI/LO side reject selection unit. The mixer downconverts a signal to generate an in-phase signal and a quadrature signal. The poly phase filter for generates differential IF signals based on the in-phase signal and the quadrature signal. The channel select filter filters out unwanted channel signals from the differential IF signals. The analog-to-digital converter converts the filtered signal into a digital output signal. The HI/LO side reject selection unit is coupled between the mixer and the poly phase filter and capable of rejecting image signals while the mixer is at a high side frequency or at a low side frequency.
