Abstract:
A lens shading correction method and apparatus are provided for removing vignetting occurring in digital images due to lens shading. A white image captured by an image pickup device and an image pickup unit is separated into reference white images corresponding to color channels. A vignetting center having a maximum light intensity is estimated in each of the reference white images. Multiple reference segments on each of the reference white images are defined. A lens shading correction value corresponding to each pixel constituting the reference segments are calculated using a corresponding light intensity. A lens shading correction function corresponding to each reference segment is derived using a corresponding lens shading correction value. Vignetting of a general image received in a general image processing mode is removed, using the derived multiple lens shading correction functions.

A welding type condenser microphone using a spring base to prevent interferences due to deviations of thicknesses of components, wherein a second base is an elastic spring. The welding type condenser microphone includes a case sub-assembly, in which a diaphragm and a back plate face each other across a spacer in a metal case and the back plate is insulated from the case by a first base formed of an insulation material; a printed circuit board (PCB) sub-assembly, in which circuit devices and a second base, which is an elastic spring, are mounted on a PCB via a surface mounting technology (SMT) method; and a unit for attaching the case sub-assembly and the PCB sub-assembly to each other. Furthermore, the second base is a leaf spring that is bent once, a U-shaped leaf spring having wings, or a coil spring.

Provided are a three-dimensional (3D) image processing apparatus and a method of adjusting a 3D effect thereof. The 3D image processing apparatus includes: a meta data analyzer which analyzes meta data about an input video signal and extracts, from the meta data, at least one auxiliary data usable in adjusting 3D effect information of the input video signal; a meta data processor which calculates a 3D effect adjusting value for adjusting the 3D effect information on the basis of the at least one extracted auxiliary data; and a 3D effect adjuster which adjusts the 3D effect information on the basis of the calculated 3D effect adjusting value, and adjusts the input video signal to have a 3D effect based on the adjusted 3D effect information.

The present invention relates to a poly(organophosphazene)-bioactive molecule conjugates in which biodegradable and thermosensitive poly(organophosphazene) with a functional group showing the sol-gel phase transition with change of temperature is combined with various bioactive molecules, such as drugs, a preparation method thereof, and a use thereof for delivery of bioactive molecules.

The present invention relates to a spacer-integrated diaphragm, in which spacers are integrated with the diaphragm, in order to reduce the number of components and manufacturing processes needed and remove parasitic capacitance. A characterizing feature of the spacer-integrated diaphragm of the present invention is that it has an integrated structure comprising a diaphragm of a flat conductive film, and thermally insulative spacers formed so as to protrude on peripheral portions of the diaphragm through a PSR (Photo Solder Resist) printing process. The spacers are formed with a plurality of holes to remove parasitic capacitance, the diaphragm has a rectangular flat shape with round edges, and the spacers are formed near the four edges of the rectangular flat shape. In the spacer-integrated diaphragm of the present invention, because the spacers are formed of a PSR (Photo Solder Resist) material and are also formed with a plurality of holes, the present invention can prevent unnecessary parasitic capacitance from occurring and improve sound quality, and, because the diaphragm and the spacers are integrally formed, the present invention can reduce the number of processes needed when a condenser microphone is assembled and reduce the number of components required, thereby reducing manufacturing costs.

A turbo-charged internal combustion cylinder assembly includes a combustion chamber, an intake port communicably connected with an intake manifold, and an exhaust port communicably connected with an exhaust manifold. An intake valve is disposed within the intake port, and an exhaust valve is disposed within the exhaust port, the valves facilitating, in an open position, or restricting, in a closed position, gas flow between their respective ports and the combustion chamber. A compressor may be communicably connected to the intake manifold so as to provide pre-combustion gases to, and regulate pressure of the combustion chamber. The exhaust valve may open while the intake valve is closed to exhaust post-combustion gases from the combustion chamber. Alternatively, the exhaust valve may open while the intake valve is open to admit post-combustion gases into the combustion chamber if the combustion chamber pressure is lower than the exhaust port pressure.

The present invention relates to a biodegradable and thermosensitive poly(organophosphazene) with a functional group, a preparation method thereof, and a use thereof for delivery of bioactive substances. According to the present invention, poly(organophosphazene) is a phosphagen-based polymer showing biodegradability, thermosensitivity, and sol-gel phase transition depending on temperature change, whereby when administered into a living body with bioactive substances such as drugs, the poly(organophosphazene) forms a gel-phase at body temperature to be capable of controlled release of the bioactive substances. Further, the poly(organophosphazene) has functional groups to chemically bind with bioactive substances through an ionic bond, covalent bond, or coordinate covalent bond to be capable of a sustained release of the bioactive substances due to its good binding property. Therefore, the poly(organophosphazene) is useful as a delivery material for bioactive substances.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus and a control method thereof are provided. The an image processing apparatus includes: a depth map estimating unit which estimates a depth map of a stereoscopic image; a region setup unit which sets up a region in the stereoscopic image; and a 3D effect adjusting unit which determines a difference in a depth level between the setup region and a surrounding region other than the setup region based on the estimated depth map, and adjusts a 3D effect of the stereoscopic image based on the determined difference in the depth level.
