Abstract:
A device and method for assisting a user in aircraft wheel assemblies is disclosed herein. The device enables a single user to readily connect two wheel sections in a split wheel assembly. The device is lightweight and reusable and preferably includes two bushings, two washers, a bolt, and a nut. After inserting the bolt through the wheel sections, a nut can be tightened, thereby creating a compressive force that compresses the bushings and the wheel sections together. While the wheel sections are compressed together, a plurality of tie bolts and tie nuts can be installed on the wheel sections to complete the wheel assembly.
Abstract:
A water soluble polymer comprising a copolyhydroxyaminoether having side-chains of polyalkylene oxides, an aqueous solution of said polymer and process for preparing the copolyhydroxyaminoether.
Abstract:
A method for performing failure analysis on a semiconductor device under inspection includes preparing of a device sample using an encapsulation material containing a dye, the prepared device sample possibly including a failure area having wicked in encapsulation material containing the dye. The prepared device sample is then sectioned to facilitate viewing a cross section face of the device under inspection. Lastly, a dark field analysis on the prepared device sample is performed with the use of dark field illumination. Responsive to at least one failure area containing wicked in encapsulation material with dye occurring on the cross section face of the device under inspection, the failure area can be readily identified as well as a contrast and perspective of remaining portions of the cross section face being maintained.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a machine for aerating soil that has a frame. A gear box is attached to the frame. A crank assembly is driven by the gear box. A parallel arm is pivotally attached to the crank assembly by a crank arm and is pivotally attached to the frame. A tine assembly arm is pivotally attached to the frame and is pivotally attached to the parallel arm at a fixed point. A rigid tine holder is pivotally attached to the tine assembly arm and is pivotally attached to the parallel arm and extends beyond the parallel arm.The connection of the tine assembly arm, parallel arm and tine holder to the crank assembly ensure that the tines are driven straight into the soil. The lack of arc ensures that the turf surface is minimally disturbed.

Abstract:
Integrated processes of preparing industrial chemicals starting from seed oil feedstock compositions containing one or more unsaturated fatty acids or unsaturated fatty acid esters, which are essentially free of metathesis catalyst poisons, particularly hydroperoxides; metathesis of the feedstock composition with a lower olefin, such as ethylene, to form a reduced chain olefin, preferably, a reduced chain α-olefin, and a reduced chain unsaturated acid or ester, preferably, a reduced chain α,Ω-unsaturated acid or ester. The reduced chain unsaturated acid or ester may be (trans)esterified to form a polyester polyolefin, which may be epoxidized to form a polyester polyepoxide. The reduced chain unsaturated acid or ester may be hydroformylated with reduction to produce an α,Ω-hydroxy acid or α,Ω-hydroxy ester, which may be (trans)esterified with a polyol to form an α,Ωpolyester polyol. Alternatively, the reduced chain unsaturated acid or ester may be hydroformylated with reductive amination to produce an α,Ω-amino acid or α,Ω-amino ester, which may be (trans)esterified to form an α,Ωpolyester polyamine.
