    摘要： Ignition apparatus includes high tension ignition cable. The cable is of low electrical resistance per unit length. A central core of the cable is formed of carbon fibre filaments. An insulating layer is provided around the core. A semiconductor layer is provided around the insulating layer. Another insulating layer is provided around the semiconductor layer. A layer of yarn around the other insulating layer forms a protecting layer. A protective layer of a flame retardant material forms an outer layer of the cable. The ignition apparatus also includes one or more of: a field stabilizer device for stabilizing and regulating high tension voltage in the cable; resistor spark plugs; connectors fitted to ends of the cable that include resistors therein, such as resistor spark plug boots.

    摘要： Nucleotide analogs that can sustain the enzymatic synthesis of double-stranded nucleic acid from a nucleic template are described. The nucleotide analogs include: (i) a base selected from the group consisting of adenine, guanine, cytosine, thymine, uracil and their analogs; (ii) a label attached to the base or analog of the base via a cleavable linker; (iii) a deoxyribose; and (iv) one or more phosphate groups. The linker and/or the label inhibits template directed polymerase incorporation of a further nucleotide substrate onto an extended primer strand. In addition, cleavage of the linker leaves a residue attached to the base which is not present in the natural nucleotide and which does not inhibit extension of the primer strand. The nucleotide analogs can therefore be used as reversible terminators in sequencing by synthesis methods without blocking the 3′ hydroxyl group. Methods of sequencing DNA using the substrates are also described.

A reinforcement layer (250) and or a shielding layer (230), (232) being provided around the outside of the innermost insulating layer (220). An outer insulating layer (240) disposes around the outside of the reinforcement layer (250) and the shielding layer. The cable (500) includes multiple numbers of single insulated conductor core to form a multi-core cable (400). A certain number of the multiple numbers can be loaded together to form as a group by a wrapping layer (260) with a screen material in tape form and or a binder tape. An inner jacketing (225) is provided around the outside of the wrapping layer (260).
