    Abstract: A method and apparatus for adaptive de-blocking filter are disclosed. One or more parameters associated with a de-blocking filter are determined. De-blocking filter using the derived parameters are then applied to reconstructed blocks. Each set of parameters is used for each picture, slice, coding tree unit (CTU) or CU (coding unit). The parameters can be signalled in VPS (video parameter set), SPS (sequence parameter set), PPS (picture parameter set), slice header, CTU (coding tree unit) or CU (coding unit) of the video bitstream. The parameters correspond to one or more values used as thresholds, clipping boundaries, or both the thresholds and clipping boundaries for the de-blocking filter. In one embodiment, the parameters for the current picture are determined using a training process using a current coded picture a previous coded picture as training data.

    Abstract: Improvements in a bracket is disclosed for mounting an electrical box onto a mounting bar. An electrical box can be preinstalled onto the bracket and clamped onto the mounting bar using wings. Bendable tabs can be articulated to secure the bracket and onto a rail. Fasteners are used to secure an electrical junction box onto the bracket and an additional fastener secures the sub assembly to the rail. The tabs can be unbent for removal. An installer can secure the bracket and electrical box using a screw and adjust the position of the bracket on the mounting bar. The bracket provides a low profile assemble that allows the bracket to be installed between the inner surfaces of stud walls.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for encoding or decoding a motion vector (MV) of a current block of a current picture using advanced temporal motion vector prediction are disclosed. At least two collocated pictures are selected from a set of reference pictures of the current picture. One or more TMVPs are derived based on reference motion vectors (MVs) associated with collocated reference blocks of the collocated pictures. A motion vector prediction candidate set including one or more TMVPs is then determined. The current block is encoded or decoding using the motion vector prediction candidate set. The reference motion vectors (MVs) are scaled before the reference motion vectors (MVs) are used to derive the TMVPs.

    Abstract: Improvements in a conduit locking connector that connects rigid conduit to an electrical junction box. Rigid conduit provides the benefit of allowing an installer to screw onto the side of the rigid conduit to frictionally lock into the rigid conduit with the conduit locking connector. A screw engages into rigid conduit that provide a hard bearing surface on opposing sides of the screw. This provides minimal bending of the rigid conduit for a firmer grip of the rigid conduit to the conduit locking connector. The conduit locking connector provides a physical interface that locks onto the rigid conduit and locks onto the junction box. The conduit locking connector provides anti-rotation between the rigid conduit and the junction box. Anti-rotation is with tabs that extend below a planar surface of the conduit locking connector and engage into holes in recesses in the junction box.
