Abstract:
The presently disclosed and claimed inventive concept(s) relates generally to the method of producing a resin replacement compound, the resin replacement compound itself, and the use of the resin replacement compound. More particularly, but not to be construed as limiting, the presently disclosed and claimed inventive concept(s) relate to the recovery of an oligomeric form of polyethylene terephthalic acid from waste polyethylene terephthalate. In one particular aspect, the presently disclosed and claimed inventive concept(s) relate to the recovery of an oligomeric form of polyethylene terephthalic acid from waste products, such as beverage containers, made from polyethylene terephthalate. In an additional aspect, the presently disclosed and claimed inventive concept(s) relate to the use of a recovered oligomeric form of polyethylene terephthalic acid in a toner composition.

Abstract:
The presently disclosed and claimed inventive concept(s) relates generally to the functionalized polyethylene terephthalate polymers and functionalized derivatives of PET. More particularly, but not to be construed as limiting, the presently disclosed and claimed inventive concept(s) relate to lower molecular weight functionalized digested PET materials from digesting recycled and methods of making and using same.

Abstract:
The presently disclosed and/or claimed inventive concept(s) relates generally to oligomeric reaction products formed by the depolymerization of polyethylene terephthalate polymers and methods thereof. More specifically, the presently disclosed and/or claimed inventive concept(s) relates to oligomeric reaction products formed by the depolymerization of polyethylene terephthalate polymer obtained from, for example but not by way of limitation, waste products, such as beverage containers made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The oligomeric reaction products can, in one embodiment, be used as a starting material for polyurethanes. The presently disclosed and/or claimed inventive concept(s) also relates to processes for producing oligomeric reaction products from the depolymerization of polyethylene terephthalate. More particularly, the presently disclosed and/or claimed inventive concept(s) relates to a process of producing oligomeric reaction products of polyethylene terephthalate capable of controlling the removal of byproducts during the reaction. The presently disclosed and/or claimed inventive concept(s) also relates to ultraviolet curable urethane acrylate and polyethylene terephthalate compositions and methods of making and uses thereof.

Abstract:
The presently disclosed and claimed inventive concept(s) relates generally to polyethylene terephthalate (“PET”) polymers, digested oligomeric derivatives of PET (“dPET”), functionalized oligomeric derivatives of dPET (“dfPET”), and polyurethane dispersions (“PUD”) made from or incorporating dfPET therein.
Abstract:
The illustrated embodiments include a selectively removable marking product composed of an aqueous solution of at least one resin complex of polyethyleneimine (PEI) characterized by a total amine number-to-carboxylic acid number ratio in the range of 1/3 to 1 inclusive, an alkaline additive and at least one paint additive. The illustrated embodiments also include a system for semipermanently applying a marking product to the surface of an article to decorate, illustrate or color the article and then selectively removing the marking product therefrom which includes the steps of coating the surface of the article with the marking product having the composition disclosed above, air drying the marking product on the surface to provide a semipermanent coating, and at a later time selectively removing the semipermanent coating by application thereto of an alkaline solution.
