    摘要: Transforming growth factor-beta1 (TGF-β1) mediates expression of collagen 1A2 (Col 1A2) gene via a synergistic cooperation between Smad2/Smad3 and Sp1, both act on the Col 1A2 gene promoter. The present invention discloses a method for inhibiting liver fibrosis via a retinoic acid derivative primarily extracted from the mycelia of Phlellinus linteus. The retinoic acid derivative can antagonize TGF-β-induced liver fibrosis through regulation of ROS and calcium influx, decreasing the promoter activity of Col 1A2, hindering the translocalization of phosphorylated Smad2/3-Smad4 complex from cytosol into nucleus and inhibiting Sp1 binding activity.

    摘要: There is provided a method, an in vitro method and a detection system for detecting the presence of at least one biological molecule in at least one sample. The method can include, for example, providing a sample and/or a binding agent to a contact portion of a surface by way of at least one microfluidic channel; disposing a liquid crystal at the contact portion; determining whether the orientation of the liquid crystal changes after the sample contacts the binding agent, indicating the presence of the biological molecule; and determining length of bright region of the liquid crystal and/or change in interference color of said liquid crystal, and consequently indicating the quantity of said biological molecule. Also disclosed are methods of detecting biological molecules using at least one 4′-pentyl-biphenyl-4-R, where R may be at least one functional group selected from carboxylic acid, amine, aldehyde, and oligopeptide.

    摘要: A GPS signal transmission apparatus includes a DC converter with a GPS power unit and an auxiliary power unit, an external GPS antenna, an RF amplifier and an internal GPS antenna. The DC converter receiving a DC power from a cigarette lighter and supplies electrical power to the RF amplifier, a GPS device through the GPS power unit, and portable electronic devices through the auxiliary power unit. The external GPS antenna receives a GPS signal and the GPS signal is amplified by the RF amplifier and then sent to the internal GPS antenna. Therefore, the GPS signal can be sent to the GPS device in wireless manner by the internal GPS antenna.
