Abstract: An image display control device displays a human body interior image on a display device and includes an imaging section, a transmission section, an image acquiring section, a transmitter, and a power source. The imaging section images the interior of a human body and generates human body interior image data. The image acquiring section acquires the human body interior image data corresponding to the human body interior image from the imaging section through the transmission section. The transmitter transmits the human body interior image data acquired by the image acquiring section to the display device through wireless communication. The power source supplies power to the imaging section, the image acquiring section, and the transmitter. The image acquiring section, the transmitter, and the power source are integral to one another, forming a main unit.

Abstract: A medical information management server (1) is connected to terminal devices (2) in a communicable manner, manages examination result information for medical use, and includes a product number receiving section (101), a key generating section (102), a storage region setting section (103), and a key transmitting section (104). The product number receiving section (101) receives product number information of a medical product from one (21) of the terminal devices through the network (3). When the product number receiving section (101) receives the product number information, the key generating section (104) generates authentication key information based on the product number information. The storage region setting section (103) sets a storage region for storing examination result information in correspondence with the authentication key information generated by the key generating section (104). The key transmitting section (104) transmits the authentication key information to the terminal device (21) through the network (3).

Abstract: An image sensing apparatus senses an image by illuminating a document by a light source including three light emitting diodes which emit light of red, green, and blue so that the light reflected from the document is incident on a sensor array which in turn generates an electric signal corresponding to the incident light, wherein a predetermined light emitting diode is also turned on during a period in which no image sensing operation is performed thereby making it possible to stabilize the intensity of light illuminating an image. Thus, the invention provides a high-performance and small-sized image sensing apparatus at a low cost.

Abstract: An auto-toner sensor capable of performing an initial adjustment of the sensitivity of toner density detection automatically by means of a simple configuration is disclosed. The auto-toner sensor includes a sensor for detecting a toner density, and producing a sensor output signal indicating the detected toner density, the sensitivity of the sensor being adjustable by a control signal to be supplied to the sensor; a device for comparing a value of the sensor output signal with a prescribed reference value indicating an appropriate level of the toner density, to produce a comparison signal indicating a result of the comparison; and a device for producing in accordance with the comparison signal a control signal, to be given to the sensor, which adjusts the sensitivity of the detection of the toner density, the control signal having a value such that the value of the sensor output signal is substantially equal to that of the reference value when the toner has the density at the appropriate level.

Abstract: An electron gun that serves to reduce the quantity of electron stimulated desorption and accomplishes vacuum evacuation efficiently with a sufficient degree of vacuum. An electron source 1 and an extraction electrode 6 are provided for emitting an electron beam 7 from the electron source 1. A first vacuum chamber 16 containing the electron source 1 is connected to a second vacuum chamber 9 via an aperture 8 provided in the extraction electrode 6. Each vacuum chamber is differentially evacuated with an independent vacuum evacuation means, and the generation of electron stimulated desorption gas 11 is reduced by securing a wide route of vacuum evacuation around the electron source 1 and intercepting the procession of back scattered electrons 12 emitted from the area with the electron beam 7 on the extraction electrode 6 by using a shielding electrode 22 given a prescribed potential.
