    摘要: An optical device with a CAN package is disclosed, where the cap is resistance-welded to the stem without causing failures due to fragments by the welding flying within the package. The cap of the invention has a flange portion to be welded to the stem. The flange portion provides a ringed groove in addition to the ringed projection for the welding. The fragment due to the welding may be captured in the ringed groove and is prevented from flying within the package. The ringed groove and the ringed projection are simultaneously formed in the stamping to form the body portion of the cap.

    摘要: The present invention provides an optical module with a relatively wider mounting area for the devices with a CAN package. The optical module of the present invention provides the stem and the cap, both of which form a cavity where the devices are to be installed. The stem provides the block extruding from the primary surface of the stem into the cavity. The block mounts the optical and electrical devices in surfaces opposite to each other, and provides feedthrough pins between these two surfaces. The device mounted in each surface may be electrically connected through these feedthrough pins.

    摘要: This invention provides an optical receiver, a temperature dependence of which is compensated, and a method for manufacturing the optical receiver. The optical receiver according to the present invention comprises an avalanche photodiode (APD), a voltage source for supplying a bias voltage to the APD and a controller for feedback-controlling the bias voltage based on the monitored temperature of the APD. The input of the controller changes as the temperature of the APD varies, such that the bias voltage to the APD compensates the temperature dependence thereof. One aspect of the invention is that the reference input to the controller depends on the temperature, while another aspect of the invention is that the dividing ratio of the bias voltage changes as the temperature of the APD varies.

    摘要: The high tensile cold-rolled steel sheet consists essentially of 0.04 to 0.13% C, 0.3 to 1.2% Si, 1.0 to 3.5% Mn, 0.04% or less P, 0.01% or less S, 0.07% or less Al, by mass, and balance of Fe and inevitable impurities, has a microstructure containing 50% or larger area percentage of ferrite and 10% or larger area percentage of martensite, has 0.85 to 1.5 of ratio of intervals of the martensite in the rolling direction to those in the sheet thickness direction, and has 8 GPa or larger nano strength of the martensite. The high tensile cold-rolled steel sheet has a good strength-elongation balance, and shows excellent crashworthiness at about 10 s−1 of strain rate. Therefore, the high tensile cold-rolled steel sheet is suitable for reinforcing members for pillar and dashboard of automobile.

The PGA substrate 22 has a substrate 22a and a plurality of electrically conductive pins 22b. The circuit board 26 has a pair of surfaces. Electronic components 34a to 34c are mounted on the pair of surfaces. The optical element assembly 24 includes a semiconductor optical element 24f. The semiconductor optical element 24f is connected to an electrically conductive layer on the circuit board 26. The spacer 32 functions so as to distance the circuit board 26 from the PGA substrate 22. Since the circuit board 26 is distanced from the PGA substrate 22, the electronic components 34a to 34e can be mounted on both surfaces of the circuit board 22.

    摘要: A coated steel sheet that has excellent bending workability, press formability, film adhesiveness after processing, solvent resistance, chemical resistance, stain resistance, weather resistance, electrical conductivity, and corrosion resistance, good surface appearance, and sufficient film hardness is provided. The coated steel sheet is produced by successively forming a galvanized layer and a chemical conversion coating free from chromium on both faces of a steel sheet, and forming a monolayer film on the chemical conversion coating at one face of the steel sheet. The monolayer film contains a polyester resin cured with a cross-linker and resin particles. The resin particles have an average particle size in the range of 3 to 40 μm, a glass transition temperature in the range of 70° C. to 200° C., and hardness higher than that of the polyester resin.
