    摘要: The present invention provides a new approach for the treatment of G-protein coupled receptor based disease. This approach comprises altering the physiology of G-protein coupled receptor based responses by exerting chemical control over the cellular distribution of the receptor. This approach allows a method for phenotypic screening for candidate compounds which disrupt GPCR distribution signaling activity and are therefore candidates for the treatment of GPCR related conditions. Compounds that create an altered distribution of GPCR upon exposure to the cell are identified. The method then uses these molecules to alter physiology through their effect on receptor distribution and reduction to practice is demonstrated in an ex-vivo model of G-protein coupled receptor activity.

In an example embodiment, a method of printing layered arrays of spots onto a substrate includes printing a first array of spots onto the substrate and allowing the first array of spots to dry.     摘要: This invention relates to immunoglobulin molecules comprising light chain (VL) chimeric variable domains, heavy chain (VH) chimeric variable domains, e.g., scFv antibodies that are expressed at high levels within a host cell, preferably within particular cellular compartments such as, e.g., cytosol or apoplast. The VL, VH and scFv antibody molecules comprise framework scaffolds of particularly preferred framework regions. This invention also relates to nucleic acid molecules encoding the immunoglobulin molecules of this invention, vectors expressing the immunoglobulin molecules, hosts transformed with the nucleic acid molecules and vectors, and methods of using the immunoglobulin molecules. Also described are immunoglobulin libraries as well as host cells, including transgenic plants, expressing the VL, VH or scFv antibody molecules of this invention.

The method includes displacing an array of reagent composition containing capillary tubes (22) arranged alongside one another from an inoperative position to an operative position in which open ends of the capillary tubes (22) simultaneously impinge against a substrate and thereafter displacing the array of tubes (22) from the operative position back to the inoperative position. The invention extends to a printing apparatus (10), a method of printing a layered array of spots of reagent compositions, a method of introducing reagent compositions into the tubes, a reagent introducing device for introducing reagent compositions into the tubes and a printing installation which includes the printing apparatus (10) and the reagent introducing device.
