摘要: A tow ball adaptor for coupling an implement hitch to a tow ball includes a plate. A first hole in the plate is complementary to and configured to insert a tow ball that is coupled to a vehicle. A coupler is coupled to the plate and configured to couple to the tow ball to retain the tow ball in the first hole. A cutout that extends into the plate is substantially complementary to and configured to insert an implement hitch. A plurality of third holes in the plate extends linearly between the first hole and the cutout. The third holes are complementary to and positioned to selectively align with a pair of orifices that is positioned singly in an upper and a lower tongue of the implement hitch. A hitch pin is inserted through the orifices and the third hole to couple the implement hitch to the plate.

摘要: Disclosed is a magazine holder for a firearm. The magazine holder includes a front segment, a middle segment, and a rear segment, wherein the segments are connected to form a unitary structure. The front segment and the rear segment are folded upwards to wrap around a forearm of a user. The middle segment is folded downward to create a slot to hold a magazine therebetween. The magazine holder mounts to the forearm of the user by means of a front and a rear adjustable strap, wherein the front adjustable strap is connected to the front segment and can wrap around the wrist of the user. The rear adjustment strap is connected to the rear segment and can wrap around the forearm of the user near the elbow. In one embodiment, the front adjustable strap may comprise hook and loop fasteners and the rear adjustable strap may comprise release buckles.

摘要: Variable elements of a turbine engine such as variable inlet guide vanes, variable bleed valves and variable stator vanes can be adjusted to provide a desired level of power and/or efficiency for the turbine engine across a range of operating conditions. The variable element settings typically determined through experimentation when the engine is new. Unfortunately, over the life cycle of the turbine engine, as wear occurs, the original variable element settings may no longer provide a desired level of power and efficiency. To correct this problem, offsets to the original variable element settings are calculated based on observable operational conditions which provide a measure of the wear that has occurred. The offsets are applied to the original variable element settings to generate corrected variable element settings. These corrected variable element settings are then used to configure the turbine engine. The corrected variable element settings allow the turbine engine to continue to operate at a desired level of power and/or efficiency over the life of the turbine engine, despite any deterioration which may have occurred due to normal life cycle wear.

摘要: A process for increasing plant growth and productivity comprising treating the roots, stems and/or foliage of the plant with .gamma.-aminobutyric acid and succinic acid as a readily metabolized source of carbon. The present invention also provides for a process for increasing plant growth and productivity comprising treating the roots of the plant with .gamma.-aminobutyric acid and succinic acid, and a process for increasing the rate of root formation in a plant comprising treating the roots, stems and foliage of the plant with .gamma.-aminobutyric acid and succinic acid. Further, plant growth is increased by application of mixtures of .gamma.-aminobutyric acid and synthetic succinic acid, in a suitable carrier to a plant.
