摘要: A method for detection and analysis of proteins includes the steps of: (a) providing a 1st capture molecule on 1st solid surfaces through a cleavable linker; (b) capturing a target protein with the 1st capture molecule on the 1st solid surfaces; (c) generating an attaching group on the captured protein without disrupting the captured protein complex; (d) cleaving the captured protein complex and immobilized on the 2nd solid surfaces through the attaching group on the captured protein; (e) releasing the 1 st capture molecule; (f) contacting the immobilized protein with 2nd capture molecule with a coding DNA tag; (g) transferring the DNA barcode in the coding DNA tag to a primer on the 2nd solid surfaces; (h) optionally amplifying the extended coding DNA strand into a cluster in situ on the 2nd solid surfaces; and (i) decoding DNA strands on the 2nd solid surfaces.

摘要: This disclosure is directed to a method for sequencing protein and peptide. The method specifies the steps of providing a polypeptide that is immobilized on solid surfaces and binding a N-terminal amino acid (NTAA) of the polypeptide with a modification molecule. Further, the method requires contacting the polypeptide with a NTAA binding molecule with a DNA coding tag, transferring an information from the DNA coding tag of the NTAA binding molecule to a universal primer and then forming an extended DNA tag on the solid surfaces, and cleaving the N-terminal amino acid on the polypeptide. Then, step (b) through step (e) are cyclically repeated. Finally, extended DNA strains are decoding on the solid surfaces.

摘要: A dual tip probe for scanning probe epitaxy and a method of forming the dual tip probe are disclosed. The dual tip probe includes first and second tips disposed on a cantilever arm. The first and second tips can be a reader tip and a synthesis tip, respectively. The first tip can remain in contact with a substrate during writing and provide in situ characterization of the substrate and or structures written, while the second tip can perform in non-contact mode to write and synthesis nanostructures. This feature can allow the dual tip probe to detect errors in a printed pattern using the first tip and correct the errors using the second tip.

摘要: The described embodiments may provide a method of fabricating a chemical detection device. The method may comprise forming a microwell above a CMOS device. The microwell may comprise a bottom surface and sidewalls. The method may further comprise applying a first chemical to be selectively attached to the bottom surface of the microwell, forming a metal oxide layer on the sidewalls of the microwell, and applying a second chemical to be selectively attached to the sidewalls of the microwell. The second chemical may lack an affinity to the first chemical.
