An apparatus and method for controlling amount of information to be fed back in a multiple antenna system in a multi-user environment. The apparatus includes a channel estimator which estimates channel values by using an input signal; a Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) operator which decomposes singular values from the estimated channel values; and a feedback determining unit which uses the singular values to compute channel capacity that can be obtained according to the amount of channel information to be fed back, and selects the channel information to be fed back by using the channel capacity.

Disclosed are a display screen for an image display system capable of providing an image having a high contrast ratio in a bright room, and a method for manufacturing the same. The display screen for displaying thereon image light emitted from a projector includes a lens layer, and a reflective layer formed on the lens layer and configured to reflect the image light, wherein the lens layer and/or the reflective layer contain a black material.

A system for controlling voltage to be supplied to electronic devices in a hybrid vehicle that includes: a main battery for storing power to be supplied to a motor of the vehicle; a sub-battery for storing power to be supplied to electronic devices of the vehicle; a low-voltage DC/DC converter (LDC) for converting a high voltage of the main battery into a low voltage and providing the low voltage to the sub-battery and the electronic devices; and a power controller for controlling power of the main battery, the LDC, and the sub-battery. The power controller controls the voltage to be supplied to the electronic devices with a low voltage, a reference voltage higher than the low voltage, and a high voltage higher than the reference voltage in accordance with an idle stop state, a constant velocity traveling state, an acceleration state, and a deceleration state of the vehicle.

The present invention provides a semiconductor device having a capacitor that is formed through: a first step of forming a polysilicon layer having a rough surface after a nonconductive layer is applied to a base substrate; a second step of etching back away the polysilicon layer to expose the nonconductive layer and thus remaining islandlike polysilicon layers; a third step of etching the nonconductive layer, using the remained polysilicon layers as an etching mask; a fourth step of etching the base substrate of the capacitor, using the nonconductive layer as a mask; a fifth step of forming a pattern of the base substrate of the capacitor after the removal of the remained nonconductive layer; a sixth step of forming an upper substrate of the capacitor after the formation of a dielectric film of the capacitor. According to this invention, the surface area of the capacitor electrode is remarkably enhanced such that the integrity of DRAMs is more improved.

A motion compensating encoding apparatus responsive to a motion amount adaptively generates motion-compensated pixel values for performing differential pulse code modulation of pixel values of image even when the amount of motion compensation required motion-compensated with respect to a reference image is beyond a predetermined motion amount. The motion compensation encoding apparatus includes a global motion estimator for generating a global motion vector representing a spatial position difference between the reference image according to first pixel values stored in a first memory and the current image according to second pixel values stored in a second memory, motion-compensating the reference image on the basis of the generated global motion vector and storing the pixel values of the motion-compensated reference image, a local motion estimator for generating a local motion vector according to comparison of the pixel values between a current video block, which is formed from the second pixel values and which has a size smaller than the current image and a search area formed by part of the pixel values stored in the global motion estimator, a motion compensator for receiving the local motion vector from the local motion estimator and generating motion-compensated pixel values by using the pixel values stored in the global motion estimator and the local motion vector, and a unit for generating a difference value between the respective pixel values of each image secondly output from the second memory and the corresponding motion-compensated pixel values output from the motion compensator. A non-intracoding method is also described.

A semiconductor device and a manufacturing method thereof are disclpsed, the semiconductor device comprising: a first conductive layer; an oxide layer formed upon the first conductive layer; a nitride layer composed of multiple sublayers formed upon the oxide layer; another oxide layer formed upon the nitride layer in the form of multiple sublayers; and a second conductive layer formed upon the structure obtained through the preceding steps. Due to the unique feature of the nitride layer composed of multiple sublayers, the electrical characteristics of the semiconductor device according to the present invention is improved, and the nitride layer according to the present invention is widely applicable to semiconductor devices.

A semiconductor device is formed with the capacitor, has an increased capacitance and the integration of the semiconductor device is improved.
