摘要: A method of producing a low-lactose milk protein concentrate comprising the steps of providing a starting liquid milk protein concentrate, pre-treating the milk protein concentration by ultra-sonication, and treating the pre-treated milk protein concentration by diafiltration to provide a calcium depleted low-lactose milk protein concentrate. The process of the invention provides a milk protein concentrate with high levels of protein, less than 1% lactose, and a calcium level that is depleted by at least 20% compared with an untreated milk protein concentrate.

摘要: An adhesive formulation such as a hot melt adhesive or a pressure sensitive adhesive is provided comprising 5 to 98% (by weight) biodegradable substantially non-crystalline mcl-PHA. The mcl-PHA may be cured with a peroxide curing agent. The adhesive formulation may include an additional biodegradable polymer, or a non-biodegradable thermoplastic elastomer. Hot melt adhesives comprising significant amounts of biodegradable mcl-PHA, waxes, and tackifiers are also provided.

摘要: A process for labelling a target protein, such as a target enzyme, such as a deubiquitinating enzyme (DUB). The process comprises providing a probe-protein complex comprising a probe and the target protein. The probe comprises a recognition element and a warhead. The target protein comprises a cysteine residue and a recognition site. The recognition element is reversibly bound to the recognition site. A stimulus is applied to induce a radical reaction in the probe-protein complex to covalently bond the warhead to the cysteine residue, thereby labelling the target protein. This invention also resides in probes and probe-protein complexes for use in the process.

The acellular peripheral nerve graft typically has an average pore size of at least 40 μm and a DNA content of less than 100 ng/mg.
