    摘要: A storage battery includes a rolled, laminated battery element made up of two groups of electrode materials composed of positive and negative electrode materials, laminated together through separators, an outer sheathing enclosing therein the laminated battery element, a spindle around which the laminated battery element is wound and rolled up so that the spindle and the laminated battery element are fixedly connected to each other. One axial end of the spindle is constrained in the axial direction of the laminated battery element by the bottom of the outer sheathing, while the other axial end of the spindle is elastically supported by an upper lid portion hermetically covering the opening end, so as to stably support the laminated battery element by the spindle and to prevent displacement of the laminated battery element from its set position even during application of vibrations to the storage battery.

    摘要: The present invention provides a distributed secondary battery type power storage system capable of maintaining the soundness of the secondary battery and of efficient electric power charging and discharging operations. The secondary battery power storage system comprises a secondary battery connected to a load, a charge/discharge unit connectable to a power system and connected to the secondary battery, and a plurality of loads connected to the charge/discharge unit. A power receiving object is selected and a capacity is determined on the basis of information about the operating condition of the plurality of loads, and the surplus electric power remaining in the secondary battery after feeding electric power from the secondary battery to the load is fed to the selected power receiving object through the charge/discharge unit. The secondary battery power storage system is capable of maintaining the soundness of the secondary battery and of efficient charging and discharging operation.

    摘要: A battery charging unit is provided with a charge controlling unit which is designed to perform at least one of rest mode operating function which causes to rest charging for respective battery, groups and discharge mode operating function which causes to discharge electric power from the respective battery groups in addition to charge mode operating function for the respective battery groups, the battery charging unit controls charging for the respective battery groups through the charge controlling unit while repeating at least two modes including the charging mode among the charging mode, rest mode and discharge mode in a predetermined time cycle and further performs a mutual control between the respective battery groups so that at least one battery group is placed in the rest mode in a predetermined sequence during the operation thereof, thereby, drawbacks of a conventional pulse like charging and burp charging, which are suitable for a quick charging but requires a large instantaneous charging current which causes the size increse of the charging unit and the electric circuit concerned, are eliminated.
