摘要： A work handling apparatus includes a general-purpose tray holding unit which can move in the left and right direction while holding a general-purpose tray that accommodates works, a processing tray holding unit which is arranged adjacent to the rear side in the front and rear direction of the general-purpose tray holding unit and can move in the left and right direction while holding a processing tray for carrying works in and out of a processing area, and work transfer units which can move in the front and rear direction and the vertical direction so as to transfer works between the general-purpose tray and the processing tray. Thus, the general-purpose tray holding unit and the processing tray holding unit move in the Y direction within the XY plane, and the work transfer units move within the XZ plane, so that the work transfer operation can be increased in speed and the productivity is improved.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a light-emitting diode display is provided. The method includes pre-fixing first, second, and third light-emitting diodes on a light emitting unit production substrate to produce light-emitting units each including first, second, and third light-emitting diodes, first electrodes of the first, second, and third light-emitting diodes being connected to a sub-common electrode. The method also includes transferring and fixing the light-emitting units from the light-emitting unit production substrate to a display substrate to produce a light-emitting diode display including the light-emitting units which are arranged in a first direction and a second direction perpendicular to the first direction (i.e., arranged in a two-dimensional matrix).

The operation panel includes a panel base portion having the operation buttons provided on the outer surface thereof, a first sheet written with the function names of the operable buttons in the form of character information dependent on a specific language, and a second sheet written with the functions of the operation buttons in the form of specified visual information not dependent on the specific language. The first and second sheets are mounted on the outer surface of the panel base portion in such a manner that the second sheet is placed on the first sheet and the first sheet is exchangeable. The second sheet is formed with windows for enabling the character information related to the function names written on the first sheet to be seen.

摘要： An apparatus for reproducing recorded information reads information from the track surface of a CD-ROM disk 1, performs error detection and correction processing on the read information to reproduce recorded information and then outputs the reproduced information. This apparatus includes a control device 11, which switches a reproduction operation to the standard speed mode in response to a correction failure condition generated in the quadruple speed mode and retries standard-speed reading of the information read with an error uncorrectable in the quadruple speed mode. Reducing the signal read speed to one-fourth in the retry processing at the standard speed improves the C/N ratio of the high-frequency signal RF by 6 dB, which in turn improves the correction capability for random errors.
