    摘要: An apparatus for communicating teletype (TTY) messages over a wireless voice link is provided. The apparatus includes a virtual TTY device manager, a display controller, and a keyboard controller. The virtual TTY device manager is disposed within a wireless communication device, and is configured to format first TTY messages for transmission over the wireless voice link, and is configured to extract second TTY messages from frames received over the wireless voice link. The display controller is disposed within the wireless communication device and is coupled to the virtual TTY element, and is configured to present the second TTY messages over a display of the wireless communication device. The keyboard controller is disposed within the wireless communication device and is coupled to the virtual TTY element, and is configured to enable a user to enter the first TTY messages via a keyboard of the wireless communication device.

    摘要: A mobile communication device for access probe handoff is provided. In the mobile communication device, a wireless module performs wireless transmissions and receptions to and from a first cellular station and a second cellular station, and a controller module configures the mobile communication device to operate in a selective retransmission mode, and detects that a signal quality of the first cellular station is less than a predetermined threshold during an access sub-attempt to the first cellular station via the wireless module. Also, the controller module hands off the mobile communication device from the first cellular station to the second cellular station in response to detecting that the signal quality of the first cellular station is less than a predetermined threshold, and clears a physical layer buffer and restarts a selective acknowledgement (SACK) operation for the selective retransmission mode after the handoff of the mobile communication device.

The phase detector receives a reference frequency and a feedback frequency to generate a up/down signal.     摘要: An in-loop filtering acceleration circuit applied in a video codec system supporting the H.264 standard and the VC-1 standard is provided. The circuit includes multiple one-dimensional (1D) filters configured to perform a filtering process; and a filter selection unit configured to select one of the 1D filters according to the value of the boundary strength to perform the filtering processing to the reconstructed macroblock. The in-loop filtering acceleration circuit further divides the reconstructed macroblock into multiple 8×8 blocks and multiple 4×4 blocks, performs the filtering process to horizontal edges of the 8×8 blocks the reconstructed macroblock row by row from bottom to top, and performs the filtering process to horizontal edges of the 4×4 blocks row by row from top to bottom.
