    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an in-wheel motor driving device which includes a highly adaptable suspension mounting portion, is light weighted, and has reduced drag friction at the time of steering operation. An in-wheel motor driving device comprises: a motor section A which rotates a motor-side rotation member; a speed reducer section B which reduces and transmits rotation of the motor-side rotation member to a wheel-side rotation member; and a wheel hub connected and fixed to the wheel-side rotation member. The above three elements are disposed in series from an inboard side to an outboard side of a vehicle, and suspension mounting brackets are fixed onto an outer surface of the speed reducer section's housing. Arms of a suspension are attached via the suspension mounting brackets.

In a drive device for an electric vehicle including: a speed reduction unit including an input shaft driven by output of an electric motor; a hub unit rotationally driven by an output member of the speed reduction unit; and a housing accommodating the electric motor and the speed reduction unit, the configuration is made such that a partition for partitioning an accommodation section into respective accommodation spaces of the electric motor and the speed reduction unit is provided in the housing, and an oil seal member is placed between a peripheral edge portion of a center hole of the partition and a rotor support member the electric motor.

    摘要: A drive device for an electric vehicle in which, by improving a supporting structure of an input shaft of a speed reduction unit, the bearing stiffness of a hub bearing is improved, while the rotational accuracy and the durability of an input shaft of a speed reduction unit are improved and noise is suppressed. The drive device includes: a speed reduction unit including an input shaft driven by an electric motor; a hub unit rotationally driven by the speed reduction unit; and a housing. The input shaft of the speed reduction unit is supported by bearings provided at two locations in the axial direction. The bearings are both supported by the output member, and the PCD of the inboard-side hub bearing of the hub bearings disposed at the two locations in the axial direction of the hub unit is larger than the PCD of the outboard-side hub bearing.

An in-wheel motor driving device includes: a motor section which has an output shaft; a wheel hub bearing section C; and a speed reducer section which connects the output shaft of the motor section and the wheel hub bearing section coaxially with each other. A housing outer circumferential portion of the motor section and a housing outer circumferential portion of the speed reducer section are integral with each other, being provided by one, outer circumferential member. An outboard-side end member is fixed to an outboard-side end of the outer circumferential member by means of bolts, and the wheel hub bearing section has its fixing ring fixed to the outboard-side end member.
