    摘要: An alkenyl aromatic resin composition having an excellent impact strength, which comprises (I) 100 parts by weight of a rubber-modified alkenyl aromatic resin containing from 2 to 35 wt. % of conjugated diolefin components, or a resinous mixture containing at least a component of the resin thereof; and (II) 1 to 50 parts by weight of a random segment copolymer containing at least a Segment A which is a random copolymer of a conjugated diolefin and a vinyl-substituted aromatic compound with a weight ratio being ranging from 30:70 to 5:95 and at least a Segment B, which is a conjugated diolefin polymer or a random copolymer of a conjugated diolefin and a vinyl-substituted aromatic compound with a weight ratio being ranging from 100:0 to 75:25, the random segment copolymer being characterized by containing;(a) at least 10 wt. % of Segment A based on the total random segment copolymer,(b) at least 20 wt. % of Segment B based on the total random segment copolymer, and(c) at least 60 wt. % of a sum of Segment A and Segment B based on the total random segment copolymer.The resin composition of the present invention can be used to make a variety of useful products, such as film, foam, injection moldings and compression moldings.

    摘要: A hydrogenated copolymer obtained by hydrogenating an unhydrogenated copolymer comprising conjugated diene monomer units and vinyl aromatic monomer units, the hydrogenated copolymer containing at least one hydrogenated copolymer block (B) which is obtained by hydrogenating an unhydrogenated random copolymer block comprised of conjugated diene monomer units and vinyl aromatic monomer units, wherein the hydrogenated copolymer has the following characteristics: the hydrogenated copolymer has a content of the vinyl aromatic monomer units of from more than 40% by weight to less than 95% by weight; at least one peak of loss tangent (tan δ) is observed at −10 to 80° C. in a dynamic viscoelastic spectrum obtained with respect to the hydrogenated copolymer; and substantially no crystallization peak ascribed to the copolymer block (B) is observed at −20 to 80° C. in a differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) chart obtained with respect to the hydrogenated copolymer.

    摘要: A thermoplastic polymer composition(a) 10 to 95 parts by weight of a block copolymer which comprises at least two polymer segments comprised primarily of a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and at least one polymer segment comprised primarily of a conjugated diene, in which:(i) the content of the vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon is more than 60% by weight and 95% by weight;(ii) the weight ratio of the vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon present in the copolymer as the vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon polymer block to the total vinyl aromatic hydrocarbons present in the copolymer is more than 0.75% to 0.98%; and(iii) the ratio of the weight average molecular weight to the number average molecular weight of the vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon polymer block in the copolymer is 1.2 to 2.0 and(b) 5 to 90% by weight of polyphenylene ether, and, optionally,(c) 3 to 400 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the total weight of said components (a) and (b), of polystyrene.
