The magnetic shield portion can be incorporated into at least one of the battery and the communication device.     摘要: A wireless terminal for personal communication systems is provided with handsfree and handset receive modes of operation utilizing a single transducer. The transducer is mounted within a specially designed enclosure having front and back chambers separated by a partition. The partition contains strategically located internal vents and the front chamber contains strategically located acoustic ports for shaping the frequency response and providing good audio quality in each mode. The back chamber may also contain strategically located acoustic ports. Amplification and equalization circuitry may be employed to further adjust the amplifier gain and shape the frequency response for dual mode operation. The terminal may additionally be equipped with a proximity detector to assist in switching between operating modes of operation. The transducer may also be used to generate the alerting (ringing or buzzing) signal.

    摘要: An illustrative embodiment provides an apparatus comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, a first conductor, and a second conductor. The positive electrode and the negative electrode are separated by the separator. The first conductor is configured to transmit a first electrical current from the positive electrode. Also, the second conductor is configured to transmit a second electrical current from the negative electrode. A direction of the first electrical current transmitted through the first conductor is substantially opposite to a direction of the second electrical current transmitted through the second conductor. A magnitude of the first electrical current is substantially equal to a magnitude of the second electrical current. The first and second conductors are proximate to one another and a first portion of one of the first and second conductors is located inside the case along a separation distance, and a second portion of the one of the first and second conductors is located outside the case along the separation distance.

    摘要: A miniature loudspeaker assembly comprises a loudspeaker drive unit housed in an enclosure. The drive unit comprises a magnet unit defining a magnetic air gap, a voice coil in the air gap, and a diaphragm coupled to and driven by the voice coil. Magnetic fluid is injected into the air gap to occupy interstices between the voice coil and the poles of the magnet unit. The enclosure has a volume between about one eighth and about double a compliance equivalent volume of the loudspeaker drive unit. Preferably, the enclosure volume is less than or equal to the compliance equivalent volume of the drive unit. The enclosure may have a port. The free space resonant frequency of the ported enclosure may be between about 50 percent and about 60 percent of the free space resonance frequency of the loudspeaker drive unit.
