摘要： In an ink jet printer, a recording unit in which an ink cartridge is detachably mounted has a cartridge removal preventing member so that the ink cartridge is prevented from being carelessly removed therefrom, and a moving mechanism is provided which, when the recording unit is mounted on the carriage, moves a first electrical connecting section towards a second electrical connecting section so that the first and second electrical connecting section are connected to each other with the aid of an energizing member under pressure, and, when the recording head is removed from the carriage, moves the first electrical connecting section away from the second electrical connecting section against the elastic force of the energizing member, whereby the recording head is detachably mounted on the carriage, and the former is positively electrically connected to the latter.

摘要： An apparatus and method for improving the freedom of movement of a carriage of an ink jet printer while a suction pump of the printer is being driven. The ink jet printer includes a carriage which reciprocates in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which printing paper is conveyed by a paper conveyor, a head, housed on the carriage, for printing characters on the printing paper, and a cap which is joinable tightly to the ink-jet face of the head. The printer further includes a suction pump communicating with the cap, a pump driving mechanism, a motor capable of driving the pump driving mechanism, and a switching gear capable of transferring the motive power of the motor selectively to and away from the pump driving mechanism as controlled by the apparatus. The apparatus includes structure which form paths through which an operating projection movably fitted to the carriage. A changeover holding device has driven portions projecting in the paths in which the operating projection moves, and operates to shift the switching gear to and from a position to enable the motor to drive the suction pump. Specifically, the paths includes operating paths in which the changeover holding device is actuated by the operating projection, and non-operating paths where the changeover holding device is not actuated when the operating projection passes through them.

摘要： The ink jet printer is provided which eliminates play between a carriage supporting an ink jet head and a guide shaft, allows the ink jet head to be releasably attached to the carriage, and provides reliable electrical connection between the ink jet head and the carriage with a reduced number of parts. An embodiment of the ink jet printer of the invention includes a guide shaft extending in a direction orthogonal to a direction in which paper is forwarded. A carriage is slidably mounted on the shaft, moving in reciprocal directions while being guided by the guide shaft. An ink jet head, releasably attached to the carriage, prints ink dots on the paper for forming a printed image by jetting ink out of nozzles. A first electrically connecting portion is arranged on the carriage. A second electrically connecting portion is arranged on the ink jet head so as to come in pressure contact with the first electrically connecting portion. A biasing member provides a pressing force between the first electrically connecting portion and the second electrically connecting portion.

摘要： The present invention provides a hydrodesulfurization catalyst that exhibits a high desulfurization activity when used in hydrotreatment of hydrocarbon oil, in particular straight-run gas oil. The catalyst includes at least one type of metal component selected from Groups VIA and VIII in the periodic table, supported on a silica-titania-alumina support where the total of the diffraction peak area indicating the crystal structure of anatase titania (101) planes and the diffraction peak area indicating the crystal structure of rutile titania (110) planes is ¼ or less of the diffraction peak area indicating the aluminum crystal structure ascribed to γ-alumina (400) planes, as measured by X-ray diffraction analysis. The catalyst has (a) a specific surface area (SA) of 150 m2/g or greater, (b) a total pore volume (PVo) of 0.30 ml/g or greater, (c) an average pore diameter (PD) of 6 to 15 nm (60 to 150 Å), and (d) the ratio of the pore volume (PVp) of pores having diameters within ±30 percent of the average pore diameter (PD) being 70 percent or greater of the total pore volume (PVo).

摘要： A hydrotreating catalyst that exhibits excellent levels of both desulfurization activity and denitrification activity. The hydrotreating catalyst is prepared by supporting molybdenum, cobalt and nickel on a carrier comprising aluminum, silicon, phosphorus and boron, and then performing a presulfiding treatment, and has an average stacking number for molybdenum sulfide slab that is greater than 1.0 but not more than 1.9. Also, a process for producing a hydrotreating catalyst that enables a hydrotreating catalyst having excellent levels of both desulfurization activity and denitrification activity to be produced with comparative ease. The process includes a first step of mixing an acidic aluminum salt aqueous solution and a basic aluminum salt aqueous solution in the presence of phosphate ions and silicate ions to achieve a pH of 6.5 to 9.5, thereby obtaining a hydrate, a second step of adding boron to the hydrate to prepare a carrier-forming material, a third step of molding and calcining the carrier-forming material to obtain a carrier, a fourth step of supporting molybdenum, cobalt and nickel on the carrier to obtain a catalyst precursor, and a fifth step of performing a presulfiding treatment by bringing the catalyst precursor into contact with a mixed gas containing hydrogen and hydrogen sulfide under conditions including a pressure of not less than 2.0 MPa and a maximum temperature of 240 to 380° C.

The control unit has a speed control part to control the object by acceleration control, constant speed control, deceleration control, and stoppage control by controlling a current to be applied to the motor, and also an inertia calculating part to calculate inertia of the object based on angular acceleration of the motor under the acceleration control of the object, and current values to be applied to the motor under the acceleration control and the constant speed control of the object. The speed control part uses the calculated inertia for controlling the current to be applied to the motor.

There is provided a mode for collectively designating all frames for printing.

The two plates can be adjusted independently in a scanning direction by angle adjusting levers that pivot the plates about reference pins. At least one plate can be adjusted in the sheet feed direction by a nozzle positioning adjusting lever that actuates a cam positioned to urge the plate in the sheet feed direction while the plate is guided by a reference pin.
