摘要: An oxidation catalyst composite, methods, and systems for the treatment of exhaust gas emissions from a diesel engine are described. More particularly, an oxidation catalyst composite including a first washcoat comprising a zeolite, Pt, and first refractory metal oxide support containing manganese, a second washcoat comprising a second refractory metal oxide support, a Pt component and a Pd component, and a third washcoat comprising palladium and a rare earth oxide component is described.

摘要: The present disclosure generally provides low-temperature nitrogen oxides (NOx) adsorbers used in the treatment of a NOx-containing exhaust gas stream and to methods of preparing and using the same. In particular, the NOx adsorber composition includes an active metal and a metal oxide support, wherein the metal oxide support includes greater than 50% by weight ceria based on the total weight of the NOx adsorber composition, and wherein the active metal includes about 0.01% to about 5% by weight ruthenium based on the total weight of the NOx adsorber composition.

摘要: A nitrous oxide (N2O) removal catalyst composite is described, which includes: a N2O removal catalytic material on a carrier, wherein the catalytic material comprises a platinum group metal (PGM) component on a ceria-containing support having a single phase, cubic fluorite crystal structure. The catalytic material is effective to decompose nitrous oxide (N2O) to nitrogen (N2) and oxygen (O2) and/or to reduce N2O to N2 and water (H2O) and/or (CO2) under conditions of an exhaust stream of an internal combustion engine operating under conditions that are stoichiometric or lean with periodic rich transient excursions. Methods of making and using the same are also provided.

摘要: An oxidation catalyst composite, methods, and systems for the treatment of exhaust gas emissions from a diesel engine are described. More particularly, described is an oxidation catalyst composite including a first oxidation component comprising a first refractory metal oxide support, palladium (Pd) and platinum (Pt); a NOx storage component comprising one or more of alumina, silica, titania, ceria, or manganese; and a second oxidation component comprising a second refractory metal oxide, a zeolite, and Pt. The oxidation catalyst composite is sulfur tolerant, adsorbs NOx and thermally releases the stored NOx at temperature less than 350° C.

摘要: A catalyst material for the oxidation of NO comprising a catalyst carrier including a ceria-alumina support having platinum and optionally palladium dispersed on the support is described. When palladium is present, the ratio of platinum to palladium by weight is at least 1:1. The amount of ceria in the support is in the range of 1% to 12% by weight. The catalyst material is useful for methods and systems of abating pollutants from automotive exhaust gas from lean burn engines.

摘要: Described are catalyst compositions, catalytic articles, exhaust gas treatment systems and methods that utilize the catalytic articles. The catalyst composition comprises a washcoat including a zeolite, refractory metal oxide support particles, and a platinum group metal supported on the refractory metal oxide support particles. Greater than 90% of the refractory metal oxide particles supporting PGM have a particle size greater than 1 μm and a d50 less than 40 microns.
