摘要: An accessory system for a vehicle includes an interior rearview mirror assembly and a display screen that is extendable and retractable relative to a casing. The display screen is slidably mounted at the casing and slidable in a direction generally parallel to a length axis of the reflective element between a non-use position, where the video display screen is positioned substantially within the casing, and a use position, where the video display screen is substantially extended from a side of the casing for viewing. The display screen may be automatically extended in response to an activating event. The accessory system may include an accessory module, which may comprise multiple sub-modules that may be selected to provide the desired accessory content to the accessory module.

摘要: Embodiments of the invention comprise methods and systems for modifying the geometry data of a CAD object through modification of an arbitrary cross section, the CAD object being stored within a computer aided design modeling system. The method includes receiving, from a user the position and orientation of a cross section plane, the cross section plane being arbitrarily positioned relative to the orientation of a CAD object, and wherein the arbitrarily positioned and oriented plane is intersecting the CAD object. The CAD system generates a user modifiable two dimensional cross section from the intersection of the cross section plane and the CAD object, the cross section having a plurality user modifiable control elements. Changes to the control elements are correspondingly made to the cross section plane and the CAD object.

摘要: This invention relates to a bogie (10), including a load bearing point (11), a wheel set portion (12) and an intervening spring suspension (13). A load weigh valve (15) is fixed between the load portion (11) and the spring (16) of the suspension (13). The valve (15) is mounted within a wedge element (19) so that it continually measures the vertical load.

摘要: A high speed technique for options pricing in the financial industry is disclosed that can provide both high throughput and low latency. A parallel/pipelined architecture is disclosed for computing an implied volatility in connection with an option. Parallel/pipelined architectures are also disclosed for computing an option's theoretical fair price. Preferably these parallel/pipelined architectures are deployed in hardware, and more preferably reconfigurable logic such as Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) to accelerate the options pricing operations relative to conventional software-based options pricing operations.

摘要: A valve-retrieval device permits a non-deployed valve mounted on a balloon catheter to be retracted back into an introducer sheath for removal from a patient's body. In particular embodiments, the valve-retrieval device is adapted to be placed on a balloon catheter shaft and then advanced over the shaft into the blood vessel via the introducer sheath. The valve-retrieval device has an expandable distal end portion that assumes an expanded shape when advanced out of the introducer sheath. The valve is positioned within or adjacent the distal end portion of the retrieval device, and the retrieval device and the balloon catheter are retracted together back into the introducer sheath. The distal end portion of the retrieval device, rather than the outer surface portion of the valve covered thereby, contacts the distal end and inner surface of the introducer sheath to facilitate retraction of the valve into the introducer sheath.
