Abstract:
The mixture contains (a) from 5 to 95% by weight of at least one reaction product of a poly(C2-20-carboxylic acid) having at least one tertiary amino group with secondary amines and (b) from 5 to 95% by weight of at least one reaction product of maleic anhydride and a primary alkylamine.
Abstract:
The invention relates to antifreeze concentrates which are based on alkylene glycols or derivatives thereof or on glycerin, containing 0.05 to 10 wt. % of one or more cathoxylic acid amides and/or sulfonic acid amides in relation to the total quantity of concentrate.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an aqueous antifreeze composition comprising 10 to 50% by weight of one or more dicarboxylic acids, preferably aliphatic dicarboxylic acids having 4 to 12 carbon atoms in the form of the alkali metal, ammonium or alkaline earth metal salt. Preferably, these salts are used in combination with at least one further substance. This gives antifreeze compositions with a good frost protective action, good heat conductivity and good protection against corrosion.
Abstract:
A heat transfer liquid concentrate comprises, in addition to at least one glycol, a) from 0.05 to 10, preferably from 0.1 to 5, % by weight of one or more aliphatic amines of the formula (I), where R1 to R3 may be identical or different and are hydrogen, optionally branched C1-C9-alkyl or C1-C9-hydroxyalkyl, b) from 0.005 to 3, preferably from 0.01 to 1, % by weight of one or more silicates which may have been stabilized, c) from 0 to 3% by weight of one or more corrosion inhibitors selected from the group consisting of the hydrocarbon-triazoles and of the hydrocarbon-thiazoles, d) from 0 to 5% by weight of one or more alkali metal, ammonium or substituted ammonium molybdates and e) from 0 to 1% by weight of one or more polymeric hard water stabilizers. The concentrates, if required after prior dilution with water, are particularly suitable for use in solar plants in which a heat transfer liquid is in direct contact with the glass of the solar plant.

Abstract:
A mixture contains(a) from 10 to 90% by weight of at least one imide of a copolymer based on an .alpha.-olefin and an ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid and a polyamine and(b) from 10 to 90% by weight of at least one reaction product of a poly(C.sub.2 -C.sub.20 -carboxylic acid) having a tertiary amino group with secondary aminesand is used as a paraffin dispersant in mineral oil middle distillates.
Abstract:
Reaction products of amino-alkylenecarboxylic acids with polyoxyalkylene compounds are used as paraffin dispersants for mineral oil middle distillates.
