    Abstract: A device to sense voltage is provided. The device includes a first circuit operatively coupled to one or more nodes. The first circuit senses an electrical characteristic of each of the one or more nodes. The first circuit generates an adjustment signal based on the electrical characteristic sensed at each of the one or more nodes. A second circuit operatively receives a first voltage and a second voltage, the second circuit being configured to generate a third voltage by scaling the second voltage. The second circuit generates a comparison signal based on a comparison of the first voltage and the third voltage.

    Abstract: An apparatus comprises an output port for a circuit load, a first input port for an energy harvest source, an input/output port a second energy source, a first circuit path from the energy harvest source to the second energy source at the input/output port and to the variable load at the output port, a second circuit path from the second energy source to the output port, a cold start circuit that produces a first voltage level at the output port by charging a capacitor at the output port using energy of the energy harvest source, and a main converter circuit that produces a second regulated voltage level at the input/output port using energy of the energy harvest source when the voltage at the output port capacitor is above a specified voltage value and uses the energy of the capacitor at the output port during startup of the main converter circuit.

    Abstract: A carotenoid oil suspension and preparation method thereof are provided. The method includes the following steps: a) mixing carotenoid with organic solvent, heating the mixture to dissolve the carotenoid sufficiently to obtain carotenoid solution; b) introducing the carotenoid solution obtained in step a) into a vegetable oil solution stirred in high speed by spraying, meanwhile recovering the organic solvent generated during spraying under vacuum condition, then, simultaneously completing recycling and spraying, thereafter, obtaining carotenoid oil suspension; wherein, the carotenoid oil suspension comprises a carotenoid crystal with an average particle size of less than 5 μm. The method is applicable in industrial scale with continuous operation and increased efficiency without additional carotenoid crystal grinding processes, and decreases the degradation of carotenoid during the preparation process of carotenoid oil suspension.

    Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a fully integrated accurate LED output current controlling circuit and method, which can be seamlessly combined with true PWM dimming. The current controlling circuit has an auto zero function in the light-emitting diode driver to eliminate offsets caused by the system, process variations, parasitic effects, dimming and so on in an LED driver application, and thus is capable of controlling the LED current with high accuracy.
